Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state a position: the opening says fictional violence may have a negative impact, and the body contrasts the belief that it is harmless with the concern that it can encourage real-world violence. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The harmless-entertainment view is mainly described as imaginary and enjoyable, while the opposing view relies on a broad claim that crime films can push viewers to commit crimes. Your own opinion is present, but the example about learning ways to murder or commit suicide is asserted rather than explained or supported. Develop each side with a clearer reason and a specific, relevant example, and make your position more precise.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “To begin with,” “In contrast,” and “To sum up” help readers follow the basic organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is limited, and several linking expressions are repetitive or awkwardly placed, including repeated “Furthermore” and “In addition.” Some sentences join several ideas without clear relationships, particularly the paragraph beginning “In contrast.” References such as “these kind of portrayed” also make it difficult to identify exactly what is being discussed. Organise each paragraph around one main point, then explain and illustrate it, using linking words and references more precisely.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “fictional violence,” “violent behaviour,” “premium contents,” and “negative effects,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, especially “viewers,” “fictional,” and “violence.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “beleive,” “violance,” “veiwers,” and “openion,” and some word combinations are unnatural, for example “a fictional violence entertainment” and “fictional based movies.” These choices sometimes make the meaning less clear. Build a more varied set of accurate expressions for discussing media influence, and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, and the response uses basic structures to compare views and give examples. However, control is inconsistent, particularly in complex sentences. For example, “They believe that fictional based violence is imaginary and just like a horror movies it does effect the viewers mentally and emotionally” contains problems with sentence structure, articles, and agreement. Other examples include “a violent content can motivate” and “other think,” where agreement is inaccurate. Punctuation also causes difficulty: several sentences run together, and commas are misplaced or missing. Aim first for accurate, clearly separated sentences, then add complex clauses using reliable patterns such as “because” or “which.”
