Some people argue that voilence genre movies are harmless entertainment, while other believe that it encourages voilent behaviour. Although some criminals are influenced by such programmes, I believe that the fictional voilence portrayed on televesion is intented to entertain people who enjoy thriller shows.

On the one hand, individuals tend to watch movies or shows which are based on their favourite genres. Action and thriller movies become popular as majority of people love to watch such content, they tend to get involved more in show by enjoy the suspences and twists. As these types of shows excites them to unwind themselves from hectic lifes. For instance, workers tend to loose motivation in work by taking breaks with these types of movies helps them to regain their energy back into life.

Additionally, it is believed that these types of shows helps kids or adults to engage in learning marshallads skills. As a result having these shows can impact have impact on individuals physical skills.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You introduce both views and state a position: “Although some criminals are influenced,” you believe fictional violence is intended as entertainment. The response also gives relevant points about viewers enjoying suspense and about possible effects on vulnerable people. However, the discussion is only partial: the entertainment argument is not clearly connected to harmlessness, and the claim that programmes teach “marshallads skills” is unclear and unsupported. The opposing view begins to explain how abuse might lead to violence, but the final sentence stops at “As a consequences,” so this side is not completed and your conclusion is missing. The response is also 44 words below the required minimum. Develop both views with specific explanations or examples, then finish with a clear conclusion that restates your opinion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is a basic overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph beginning “On the one hand,” and a contrasting paragraph beginning “On the other hand.” These markers help readers recognise the two perspectives. However, progression within the paragraphs is uneven. The sentence about workers taking breaks does not clearly support the claim that fictional violence is harmless, and the point about learning physical skills appears abruptly. Some links are awkward or repetitive, such as “As these types of shows excites them” and “As a result having these shows.” Most importantly, the response ends mid-sentence, leaving the second view and the overall argument unfinished. Organise each paragraph around one clear claim, explain how each example supports it, and complete the essay with a conclusion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt some topic-related vocabulary, including “fictional violence,” “juvenile crimes,” “criminal activities,” and “authorities,” and words such as “suspense” and “twists” help describe entertainment. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling and word-choice errors make parts difficult to understand: “voilence,” “televesion,” “intented,” and “marshallads.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “regain their energy back into life” and “engage in learning … skills.” Choose accurate, natural phrases and check spelling carefully; for example, “violent behaviour,” “martial arts skills,” and “recover their energy” would communicate the intended ideas more clearly. More precise vocabulary for cause and effect would also help explain the two positions.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the opening contrast with “Although” and the sentence beginning “Psychologically.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences hard to follow. For example, “Action and thriller movies become popular as majority of people love to watch such content, they tend to get involved…” joins clauses incorrectly; “these types of shows excites them” has subject–verb disagreement; and “juvenile crimes and other criminal activities is said” also has incorrect agreement. The sentence about workers taking breaks lacks a clear grammatical structure, while the final “As a consequences” is incomplete. Practise accurate clause joining, agreement, and complete sentence construction before adding more complex forms.
