Student answer (Band 4.0)
Violence is always been harmful if it is interms of rational or irrational fictional violence, Lets take an example of Television Drama.
Consider an Actor which is very violent and brutal to their servants, that actor always talk in aggression and with bad attitude and often act violently to their servant, however the servant politely act on his command and fulfull all their obligation which was requested by his master.
The Audience / viewers of the drama percieve the violent act against his servant as a normal gesture and follow that example to their future servant or on present servants which is not right, I believe violence have no respect in this world although if it's done in fictional as it reflect worst affects on the mood.
We all know all social media platforms are against Violent behaviour. lets take another example X formerly Twitter against the violent behaviour. In past they have blocked almost all accounts on X which spread violent behaviour or hate against any community.
If it is good and harmless entertainment than Violence might be allowed and there is no rules and regulations to block violent or such account expanding or creating content based on violence.
My personal X account was shutdown by X because I have scarcastly post content which may some violation of breaking their rules notably on violence behaviour which is bad ofcourse on audience which read and saw it.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You state a clear view that fictional violence is harmful, and the example of viewers copying an aggressive character is relevant to the concern that it may encourage behaviour. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the harmless-entertainment position is not meaningfully explained: “If it is good and harmless entertainment” is only a brief conditional statement, not a developed argument. The X/Twitter examples focus on platform rules and your account rather than explaining why fictional violence might be harmless or harmful in a convincing way. The response also does not meet the required 250 words, which limits the space available to develop both sides. To improve, explain each view fairly, support it with a relevant example, and make your own conclusion explicit.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5
The response has some paragraph breaks and a basic sequence: it introduces a view, gives a drama example, then moves to social-media examples. Linking phrases such as “Consider” and “lets take another example” signal that you are adding illustrations. However, the overall progression is difficult to follow because the examples do not consistently connect to the question about television fiction. The shift from servants in a drama to X’s account policies and your personal account is abrupt, and the final paragraph does not clearly conclude the discussion. Some references, such as “that actor” and “their servants,” are also unclear. Organise the essay around the two views, use each paragraph to develop one main point, and finish with a concise statement of your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “violent behaviour,” “fictional violence,” “aggression,” and “audience,” so the reader can identify the subject of your response. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “servants” and “rules and regulations.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “violence is always been harmful,” “normal gesture,” and “expanding or creating content.” Spelling errors such as “percieve,” “fulfull,” and “scarcastly” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise phrases that express the argument directly, such as “portrayal of violence,” “imitate aggressive behaviour,” and “content that promotes violence.” Proofreading spelling and collocations would make your meaning clearer.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a contrast introduced by “however” and a conditional sentence beginning “If it is good and harmless entertainment.” This shows some effort to vary sentence forms. However, errors are frequent and sometimes make relationships between ideas hard to follow. For example, “Violence is always been harmful” has an incorrect verb form, while “that actor always talk” has subject–verb disagreement. The long sentence beginning “The Audience / viewers” contains several clauses joined without clear punctuation, and “which was requested by his master” does not agree clearly with its reference. Use shorter, controlled sentences first, check verb forms and agreement, and punctuate clauses carefully before attempting longer structures.
