Student answer (Band 5.0)
Fictional voilance portrayed on the television is harmless and or it encourages the voilent behaviour. THIs is the topic for our disscussion today.
So the first point of the disscussion is that it is harmless and just a entertainment. As we see the most of our entertainment on television it is scripted and all the veiwers know that and it is mentioned as well before any broadcast in disclaimer section that all the characters are temporary and mean noi harm to someone and all the things happening are just scripted entertainment . This was the best example of that fictional voiulance means nothing. Most people have in them some cruel and harsh human and the fictional voilance is just portraying them and those people enjoy it greatly. And some people have in them a little don or mafia that is just their favourate illusion.
And it also encourages their voilance behaviour because people mostly confuse in fiction and reality in scripted entertainment and reality . They think of world as a movie seen where they are the main character or hero and they think everthing will be as they planned according to their wills but this is cruel world and time spares none. A drug dealer movie can inspire you to be a drug dealer but its not as simple as it seems in the movies it has lot of bumps on their road which none teaches you alot of hurdles. Entertainment if not taken as entertainmment causes domestic voilence.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views: the first paragraph presents fictional violence as scripted entertainment, while the second explains how viewers might confuse fiction with reality and imitate a character. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The disclaimer example does not fully show that fictional violence is harmless, and the claim that people have a “cruel and harsh” side is asserted rather than explained or supported. Your own opinion is not clearly stated: the final sentence warns that entertainment can cause domestic violence, but does not explicitly say which view you find more convincing or qualify your position. State your view directly and develop each side with a clear reason and a relevant example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has separate paragraphs for the two views, and phrases such as “the first point” and “And it also” signal a change in focus. This gives the reader some basic organisation. However, progression within the paragraphs is difficult to follow: the ideas about disclaimers, people’s cruel side, and a “little don or mafia” are placed together without clear links. The second paragraph also moves from confusing fiction with reality to a drug-dealer example and domestic violence without explaining the connections. Some linking is repetitive or mechanical, and the opening does not establish a clear position. Organise each paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it before moving to the next point.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “scripted,” “disclaimer,” “fiction,” “reality,” and “domestic violence,” so the subject is generally identifiable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning less clear, such as “a little don or mafia,” “movie seen,” and “time spares none.” Repetition of “fictional violence,” “entertainment,” and “people” also limits precision. Spelling errors are noticeable, including “voilance,” “disscussion,” “veiwers,” and “favourate,” and these can distract the reader. Aim for accurate, natural phrases such as “violent behaviour,” “identify with a character,” and “imitate what they see on screen,” and check spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a complex explanation beginning “because people mostly confuse in fiction and reality.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the relationships between ideas difficult to understand. For example, “As we see the most of our entertainment on television it is scripted” has an unclear structure, while “a drug dealer movie can inspire you to be a drug dealer but its not as simple as it seems” needs clearer clause punctuation and more accurate sentence construction. Articles and agreement are also problematic in phrases such as “just a entertainment” and “all the characters are temporary.” Use shorter, complete sentences where needed, and check articles, verb forms, agreement, and punctuation when combining clauses.
