Student answer (Band 5.0)
Well today we will talk about the people think that the fictional violence portrayed on television is harmless entertament. and other people disagree and think that it encourages violent behaviour.people have to know the first which content can be harm there for and also childern.
Nowdays, violence in television programmes is a common topic of discussion. some people think that fictional violence is harmless entertainment, while other think it encourages people to behave violently. in my opinion it can be negetive imfact to behavior some time they believe that viewers can distinguish between fiction and reality. for example action flim show the fight and dangerous screen . therefore fictional violance may not have a harmfull effect for every one.
On the other hand, some people think that watching violence scenes can encourage aggressive behavior, particurlarly among children and teenagers young viwers may try to copy the actions of their facorite characters because they do not always undastand the consequences of voilence, for instance childern who frequently watch violent programms may become less sensitive to aggressive behaviour. as a result prents should monitor what their children watch and concourage them to choose suitable programmes.
in conclusion, although fictional violence can provide entertaiment and dose not necessarily harm every viewer, i belive that excessive exposure to violance content negetivly influence behaviour especilly among young people. there for television program should be chosen carefully, and parents should guide their children towards approprite content. i think everything is up to people how they are react or how they accepet all the situation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You discuss both views and give a personal position: you explain that viewers may distinguish fiction from reality, then argue that violent content can affect children and teenagers. The example about young viewers copying characters and becoming less sensitive is relevant, but the harmless-entertainment view is only briefly explained, and several claims need clearer development or support. Your opinion is present, though it becomes less focused in the final sentence, “everything is up to people how they are react.” The response also falls short of the required minimum: it contains 240 words, and the 19 words copied from the prompt are not counted. Develop each side with a specific explanation or example and keep the conclusion aligned with your main position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” and “in conclusion” help signal the direction of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because ideas are joined in long, loosely punctuated sentences, and some linking expressions are inaccurate or repetitive, including “there for” and “as a result.” The opening also repeats the task wording rather than clearly setting up the discussion. Improve the flow by giving each paragraph one clear central point, then explaining and illustrating it in a logical order; use fewer, more precise connectors and make references such as “it” or “they” unmistakable.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “fictional violence,” “aggressive behaviour,” “consequences,” and “excessive exposure,” which helps communicate the main ideas. However, the range is limited and several spelling errors make the writing less clear, for example “entertament,” “negetive,” “childern,” and “violance.” Some word combinations are also unnatural, such as “negative impact to behavior” and “violent content.” Repetition of “violence,” “people,” and “children” further limits flexibility. Build a more accurate range of topic-specific expressions and check spelling carefully. For example, use “a negative effect on behaviour” and “violent material,” and vary repeated references with suitable alternatives such as “young viewers” or “adolescents.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast with “although” and a reason clause beginning “because.” These attempts show an effort to connect ideas, but control is inconsistent, and frequent errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the meaning. Examples include “other people disagree and think,” where the subject and verb do not agree, “they are react,” which has an incorrect verb pattern, and “program should be chosen,” where the plural subject is needed. Sentence boundaries and capitalisation are also unreliable, particularly where a full stop is followed by a lowercase “some.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, verb patterns, articles, and punctuation, then proofread each sentence for a complete and correctly formed structure.
