Student answer (Band 5.0)
Violence is a major problem throughout the world. There is a debate that violence in TV serials is a pure entertainment without any harm while other it encourages the bad behaviour. I can agree with the second opinion.
Firstly, people think TV serials or movies are only for the entertainmentnot to learn something. These are the people who only love action movies or the serials that include harmfull acts and they do not care about the consequences of it on the society. For example peaky blinders is the most watched series on netflix, people still watch it rather care about it include violence. This serial influence on brand market, the sale of long coat increased after this web-series. These type of shows must need to ban.
Secondly, this opinion is given by the sensitive people who cared alot about the society and their family. They it has a bad impact on people especially on the children. For example a child who has symptoms fo deppression, if he wattch the violet drama serial, it mush have negative impacts on him. This type of child when become adult, he try to commit the acts that he learn from TV or web series.
From my perspective, I clearly think that it have very dangerous impact on our environment. For example the people who become serial killer, they are definately in fluence by the society or by watching these kinds of serials on the TV. So, i think government should be need to make polices to restrict the director and producers to make not these kinds of shows.
In conclusion, first though of people think these serials for incompetent for society and others though it is just a source of enjoyment and pleasure. In my view, I am strictly against the violent serials because it is a source for bad people to learn bad behaviour.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You state a clear overall view—“I can agree with the second opinion”—and return to it in the conclusion. You also attempt to discuss both positions, using the Peaky Blinders example for the entertainment view and concerns about children for the harmful-effects view. However, the first position is not explained fully, and the example about coat sales shows the series’ influence on fashion rather than why viewers consider its violence harmless. The claim that people who become serial killers are influenced by television is also asserted without evidence or qualification. To develop the response more fully, explain the reasoning behind each view and support your own position with a relevant, carefully explained example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs, your own-view paragraph, and a conclusion. “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph moves from entertainment to audience attitudes, then to coat sales and a ban, without showing how these points connect. The second paragraph’s opening labels one group “sensitive people,” but the following sentences do not clearly explain the relationship between that description and the effects on children. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, and connect examples explicitly to the claim they support. Clearer referencing would also help readers follow who “these people” and “this type of child” refer to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “consequences,” “impact,” “violent behaviour,” and “restrict,” so the reader can identify the subject and your position. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “pure entertainment,” “influence on brand market,” and “source for bad people to learn bad behaviour.” Repetition of “bad,” “people,” and “serials” also limits precision. Spelling errors such as “harmfull,” “deppression,” and “definately” are noticeable and can slow the reader. Build a more precise vocabulary for discussing media effects, and check spelling and natural word combinations. For example, describe a programme as “a form of entertainment” and say it “may influence viewers’ behaviour.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional example beginning “if he…” and a relative clause in “the people who become serial killer.” However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors make some sentences difficult to follow. Examples include “while other it encourages,” “They it has a bad impact,” and “when become adult, he try to commit.” There are also recurring problems with subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “it have very dangerous impact.” Practise building complete clauses with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and articles. Shorter, accurate sentences would make your reasoning easier to understand while you develop more reliable complex forms.
