Student answer (Band 5.5)

Many individuals has different prespective toward the portyal of violence on television some might take it as an entertainment and other might take it as a social crime. But what I persive is kind of mix feeling for both the views I partially support both the views.

On one had, people who take it as a harmless are those who try to enjoy the cinema and allocate their time to watch movies and series for relaxation and to get free from stress. They take cinema as an entertainment paltform and try not to connect it to the real world.

On the other hand, the people who object and sees it as a medium of violance and distruction of society are those that see it as a threat that it might influnce children negatively and the younger people might grt influence by those violent scene and can take wrong path in near future.

But I see the both positive and negative side of frictional world as it is made in order to entertain the public to feel relax after a hectic work and spend time with loved ones watching movies and enjoy the action and comedy and for the downside it might also portrait negative side of society or other things as most of the cinema are influenced by the real world activities so it kind of shows the downside of the world.

In conculsion, there are both upside and downside of cinema but people should not connet the frictional world to the real world and try to enjoy the experience that it provide and to some extent cinema also give a life and educational lesson to the society as a corporate social responsbility.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views: the second paragraph explains why viewers may regard fictional violence as entertainment, while the third raises concerns about its influence on children. You also give a personal position, describing your feelings as mixed and later saying you see both positive and negative sides. However, the opinion is not fully clear: “I partially support both the views” does not explain which effects you consider more important or under what conditions. The discussion is also general and lacks a specific example or developed explanation of how fictional violence might affect behaviour. To strengthen the response, state a precise position and support each view with a concrete example and clearer reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your own discussion, and a conclusion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” help signal the change in perspective. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, particularly in the long paragraph beginning “But I see the both positive and negative side,” where several ideas about relaxation, entertainment, real-world influence, and society are joined together. The conclusion also introduces the idea of cinema’s “corporate social responsibility” without preparing it earlier. Use clearer topic sentences, divide complex points into shorter units, and make sure each paragraph develops one main idea. This would make the organisation more consistently easy to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “harmless,” “violent behaviour,” “negatively,” and “real world,” so the main ideas are generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make the writing less precise, such as “frictional world” for “fictional world,” “portyal,” and “distruction.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “take it as a harmless” and “allocate their time to watch movies.” Aim to learn accurate topic-related collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms such as “exposure to violent content” or “imitate aggressive behaviour” would help you explain the issue clearly without relying on repeated general words like “people,” “side,” and “cinema.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, and the overall meaning can usually be followed. However, errors in agreement, sentence construction, and articles occur often enough to make some sentences difficult to read. For example, “Many individuals has” should use a plural verb, and “the people who object and sees” mixes plural and singular agreement. The opening sentence also runs several ideas together without clear punctuation, while “I see the both positive and negative side” has an awkward article and number pattern. Practise building accurate subject–verb structures and separating independent ideas with full stops or suitable conjunctions. Once these basic patterns are more reliable, you can use complex sentences with greater control.
