Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, violence in frequently shown in television programes, films and series. While some people believe that such content is harmless entertainment, others argue that it can encourages violent behaviour among people. In my opinion, althogh fiction violence is entertainment for adults but it may negatively influance children.
On the one hand, many people think violence in fiction program is harmless because adults understands what the see is not real. they understandes difference between reality and imagination. Action films, crime series and super natural shows excites people by their scenes and acting. These program provide people entertainment and relaxation. It doesn't mean violence make people aggrasive. Waching suspence and thriller movies is daily routine for most of the individuals nowadays. For example, someone who wathes action movies may simply enjoy its storyline and special effects.
On th other hand, there are a big concern that exposure of violence can influence children. As they may not fully understand consequences of violence. if they see characters solving their problem through fighting, then they starts believing fighting is the way to deal with problems. They may become more likely to fight with their classmates instead of solving peacefully. In my view, fictional violence affects depends on the viewer's age. Parents should moniter what their children see and make them understand difference between real stories and fictional one. Proper guidence can undo this problems.
in conclusion, For some people it can be enjoyable but for sensitive people it may encourage aggression, especially in children. So, responsible guidence is very important.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and give a clear personal position: fictional violence may be harmless for adults but can affect children. The two body paragraphs support the opposing perspectives with relevant points, including adults’ ability to distinguish fiction from reality and children copying characters who use fighting to solve problems. This meets the task, but some ideas are asserted rather than fully explained. For example, the claim that watching thrillers is a daily routine does not show why this makes the content harmless, and the final point about parental guidance is brief. Develop each main claim with a clearer explanation or a specific example, and make your conclusion reflect the distinction between adult and child viewers more precisely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help readers follow the discussion, and the ideas generally progress from adults’ reactions to children’s behaviour. However, some links are mechanical or unclear. The sentence beginning “As they may not fully understand…” is a fragment, while “In my view, fictional violence affects depends on the viewer’s age” disrupts the transition from the opposing argument to your opinion. References such as “these program” and “this problems” are also unclear. Use complete sentences and clearer links between claims, examples, and your position.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “fictional violence,” “special effects,” “consequences,” “aggressive,” and “solve their problems.” These choices make the main ideas understandable, and you attempt some less common terms such as “suspense” and “guidance.” However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “programes,” “wathes,” “super natural,” and “influance.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “exposure of violence” and “undo this problems.” These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding the argument, but they reduce precision. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations, for example “exposure to violence” and “address these problems.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “If they see characters solving their problem through fighting, then they starts believing…” and a contrast in the introduction. However, control is inconsistent, and several errors affect sentence accuracy. Examples include “adults understands,” “it can encourages,” and “they starts,” where subject–verb agreement or verb forms are incorrect. There are also sentence-boundary problems: “As they may not fully understand consequences of violence” is incomplete, and “In my opinion, althogh … but …” combines structures incorrectly. Practise forming complete clauses, matching verbs to subjects, and using either “although” or “but,” not both in the same construction.
