Student answer (Band 5.5)
FEW PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT FICTIONAL WORLD IS SHOWNED AS A HARMFULL AND DANGARIOUS TO THE AUDIENCE, WHICH IS A BAD WAY TO POTRAY THE ENTERTAINMENT WORLD. OTHERS DENIE THAT ENCOURAGING THIS VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH REAL LIFE. IN THIS ESSAY BOTH THE VIEWS WILL BE MENTIONED AND MY VIEW ABOUT THE ACTION SCENES HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ACTUAL WORLD AS THE AUDIENCE IS ENOUGH MATURE ABOUT THE MOVIE THEY ARE WATCHING.
ON THE ONE HAND, PEOPLE LARGLY BELIEVE THE VIOLENCE IN THE CENIMA SCREEN CAN BRING FEW NEGATIVE POINTS TO THE PEOPLE SUCH AS, YOUNG PEOPLE CAN GET INFLUENCED BY THEIR ROLE MODLES AND CAN PERFORM VIOLENTS STUNTS WITH THEIR LOVED ONCES. MOVIES ARE MOSTLY MADE UNDER SURVALENCE AND WITH HIGH PRECAUTIONS, WHICH IS NOT SAME IN THE REAL LIFE AND MANY ISSUES CAN BE CREATED IF NOT DONE PROPERLY. FOR INSTANCT, AFTER A SOUTH INDIAN MOVIE A HUGE GROUP OF PEOPLE START ACTING LIKE THE HERO AND MADE A SEEN OUT OF IT, RATHER THAN JUST UNDERSTANDING ITS A MOVIE.
ON THE OTHER HAND, MANY PEOPLE HAVE THE COMMON SENCE ABOUT THE DIFFRENCE IN FICTIONAL VIOLENCE AND IN THE ACTUAL REAL LIFE SCENERIO. PEOPLE ONLY WATCH THIS KIND OF MOVIES FOR THEIR ENJOYMENT RATHER THAN TRYING THE FIGHTING MOVES ON SOMEONE, ALSO, AS THE MOVIES ARE HIGHLY INFLUENCED AND MARKETED WITH THE 18+ MARKING AND WITH THE DISCLAMER THAT ' DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME'. SO ITS BETTER TO WATCH IT AND GAIN SOME ENTERTAINMENT IGNORING THE FACT THAT PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO DO THIS KIND OF STUNTS.
IN CONCLUSION, BOTH THE VIEWS ARE GENUIN WITH THE RESPECT TO THE AUDIENCE BUT, IN MY VIEW ALL THE A GRADE STUNTS AND VIOLENCE SHOWN IN THE TELEVISION HAS NOTING TO DO WITH THE REAL WORLD AND IT SHOULD NOT BE AFFECTED BY THE PEOPLE TRYING TO COPY THE MOVES JUST TO LOOK COOL IN THE SOCIETY.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state your position: the introduction says audiences are mature enough to distinguish films from reality, and the conclusion repeats that fictional violence should not affect real life. The two body paragraphs also give relevant reasons, including young viewers copying role models and audiences watching for enjoyment. This covers the task, but some points are less fully explained than others. For example, the South Indian film anecdote is vague, so the reader cannot tell what behaviour occurred or how it supports the argument. The claim that age ratings and disclaimers make viewing harmless also needs explanation, since these measures do not necessarily prevent imitation. Develop each example and clarify the limits of your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help readers follow the discussion, and your opinion is stated at both the beginning and end. However, some connections are mechanical or unclear. In the first body paragraph, the move from precautions during filming to possible real-life issues needs a more explicit link. The second paragraph combines several claims in a long sentence beginning “People only watch this kind of movies,” making the relationship between enjoyment, age ratings, and disclaimers difficult to follow. Use clearer sentence boundaries and connect each example directly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “role models,” “violent stunts,” “disclaimer,” and “actual real life scenario.” These choices show an effort to discuss influence and audience behaviour, but spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural phrasing are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause. Examples include “harmfull,” “cenima,” “survalence,” and “common sence”; “fictional world” and “actual real life” are also awkward or repetitive in context. Some expressions, such as “made a scene out of it,” do not clearly describe the behaviour you mean. Work on accurate spelling and natural collocations, and choose precise terms for the actions in your example so your ideas are easier to understand.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple and more extended sentence forms, including clauses with “which” and “rather than,” and the overall meaning is generally recoverable. However, some sentence structures are faulty, particularly where several ideas are joined together. For example, “People only watch this kind of movies …, also, as the movies are …” is not a well-formed sentence, and “Others deny that encouraging this violent behaviour has nothing to do with real life” creates a confusing negative construction. There are also errors in agreement and articles, as in “the audience is enough mature” and “the difference in fictional violence and in the actual real life scenario.” Use shorter, complete sentences when needed, and check clause structure, agreement, and article use.
