Student answer (Band 5.0)

In todays world, the generation Z and Alpha idiolize some social media personalities to such extent that they started following them from dressing to potraying. The fictional characters perfomed by them started to create an impact on youth. The youth started to believe that these are the ways to deal with such situations. The fictional movies had an impact on todays generation much more than it has over past few decades. So the production companies had to deal with many incidents reevant to that

The fictional characters leaves an impact on youg minds who spend there days seeing them and ways of dealing with situations. They forget that the actor is performing a character only. For example, In recent hollywood movies an intense level fighting and killing has been potrayed which left an image of being violent in every situation. After watching the movie, a school kid become so violent that in result of normal school fight he bring a chainsaw in school and, injured 2 a boy and a girl. Todays world in which childrens spent maximum amount of time on digital tool scrolling and watching violence it is necessary to take steps to counter

The entertainment displayed on the Television is for the relaxation and spending time. One shuld have to understand its purpose and view from that prespective. To counter these situations production houses displays ads and subtitled sentences that the acts perfomed are for fictional only.

In my opinion, Television had to think about the violance and to had some rules to counter intense violence as it creates a negative image on childrens and youngs mind. In last decades, television purpose was different as of now, it isn't just an tool of amusement but a marketing along with narrative building tool. So, Fictional violence needed to be reduced

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear view that fictional violence can negatively affect young people, and the school incident is a relevant example supporting this concern. You also briefly acknowledge the opposing view by describing television as entertainment and mentioning notices that acts are fictional. However, the discussion is unbalanced: the harmless-entertainment position is not explained in much depth, and the essay does not fully explore why viewers may distinguish fiction from real behaviour. Several claims, such as that fictional characters shape how young people handle situations, need clearer reasoning or support. Develop both perspectives with specific explanations, then state your position consistently and connect each example directly to the argument.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has paragraphs and a generally understandable movement from the influence of fictional characters, to a violent example, to the entertainment counterargument and your opinion. However, progression between ideas is not always clear. The opening shifts from social-media personalities to fictional characters without explaining the connection, and the first paragraph ends abruptly with “incidents relevant to that.” Linking phrases such as “For example” and “In my opinion” help signal purpose, but connections are sometimes repetitive or unclear, and references such as “these situations” are not precise. Give each paragraph one clear role, use a topic sentence to introduce it, and make the relationship between claims and examples explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “fictional characters,” “intense level fighting,” “negative image,” and “narrative building tool,” so the reader can identify the subject and your main concern. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, sometimes making meaning less clear. Examples include “idolize … to such extent,” “following them from dressing to portraying,” and “subtitled sentences.” There are also frequent spelling errors, such as “potrayed,” “violance,” and “prespective,” which reduce control of written vocabulary. Build a more precise set of expressions for media influence and audience response, and check spelling and natural word combinations during revision.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt some longer sentences and subordinate clauses, for example, “After watching the movie, a school kid become so violent that…” and “In my opinion, Television had to think…”. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the response difficult to follow. Verb forms and agreement are inconsistent: “characters leaves,” “a school kid become,” and “children spent” do not match their subjects or intended time. Articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries also need attention, as in “an tool” and the long opening paragraph that ends without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses; proofread each sentence for subject–verb agreement and tense.
