The table shows the number of fatal, serious and slight injuries resulting from gun and knife crime in Great Britain from 1998 to 2007 and the percentage increase for each degree of injury over the period.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The given chart shows the statistics of different range of injuries from gun and knife crimes between the year 1998 and 2007.

From the overall view, it is clear that the number of slight injuries largely bypass the number of serious and fatal injuries. Additionally, the crime rate was at peak in [redacted phone] while in the first year it was the least. From 1998 to 2007, the number of fatal injurie stayed between 49 to 95, which was the highest in [redacted phone]. On the other side, the rate of serious crime inclined by 194%. The peak number of it was recorded in the second last year. Interestingly, the serious and slight injuries were at zero during the last year.

Observing the total numbers, [redacted phone] had highest crime of 3912 out of which 3296 were slight injuries. Noticebly, fatal crime were merely 49. moreover, the inclination rate was 18%, 194% and 405% respectively for different degrees of injuries.
