The table shows the number of fatal, serious and slight injuries resulting from gun and knife crime in Great Britain from 1998 to 2007 and the percentage increase for each degree of injury over the period.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table illustrates the information about the number of fetal, serious and slight injuries caused by gun and knife crime in the great britain from 1998 to 2007 as well as the percentage increase for each degree of wound over the period of time.

Overall, the slight injuries had accounted as the high in all the period of time. Whereas, it had accounted in least number that was fetal. Moreover, the percentage increase in slight injuries was also high.

In 1998 to 1999, 49 fetal, 162 serious and 653 slight injuries had recorded and it almost doubled and reached 95 fetal, 392 serious and 1390 slight injuries by the year 2001 to 2002. after that fetal started to decline and reached 58 at the end of the yea 2006 to 2007. Whereas the serious increased steadily and reached 476 by the year 2006 to 2007.
