Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response covers the main features of the data, such as the overall upward trend and the dominance of slight injuries. However, the analysis is hampered by inaccuracies in data reporting. For instance, you mention 'there are no injuries records on 2006-2007', which is a misinterpretation of the table, and the claim that 'the ratio of fatal injuries were slightly downward' is not clearly supported by the provided figures. While you identify the main trends, the lack of precision in reporting specific data points and the misreading of the table structure prevent a higher score. To improve, ensure you carefully verify the figures against the table before writing.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the flow between sentences is often mechanical and sometimes confusing. For example, the transition 'After that, in 2001-2002 slight injuries increased among last 6 years' is unclear and lacks logical progression. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often repetitive or incorrectly applied. The paragraphing is present, but the internal logic within the paragraphs needs to be more cohesive to ensure that the relationship between the data points is clearly communicated to the reader.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision required for a higher band. You use basic terms like 'a lot of' and 'most common types'. There are also spelling errors such as 'falat' (fatal) and 'persantage' (percentage). While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'upward trend' and 'recorded', the range is limited. To improve, focus on using more precise academic vocabulary and ensure that you proofread your work to eliminate basic spelling mistakes that detract from the professional tone of your report.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'The table illustrates about total injuries which are held' (should be 'illustrates the total injuries that occurred') and 'the serious injuries was 162' (subject-verb agreement error). Additionally, there are issues with article usage and tense consistency. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors suggests that you need to focus on basic grammatical accuracy, particularly subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions, to improve your score.
