However, serious injuries' amount were considerably raised. The volume of negligible wounds were highest overall and it is boosting till now.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to summarize the data, but it fails to accurately report the main features. The interpretation of the statistics is frequently incorrect; for example, the claim that fatal injuries 'rocketed up to 95' in 2001-2002 while the 'sum was 1877' is confusing and does not align with typical data interpretation. Furthermore, the final paragraph provides a summary of ratios that does not clearly reflect the trends shown in the table. The response lacks a clear, accurate overview of the data, and the selection of information is inconsistent, leading to a failure to clearly highlight the key trends over the period.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. While some cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'Moreover', 'Overall', 'However'), they are sometimes used inappropriately or do not effectively link the ideas. The transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is abrupt, and the internal structure of the paragraphs is disjointed. The referencing is occasionally unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the argument or the data analysis. Overall, the response lacks a smooth flow, and the relationship between the sentences is often mechanical rather than logical.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often used inaccurately. Phrases like 'wounds from these weapons' and 'fatal hazard' are unnatural in this context. There is some attempt to use descriptive verbs like 'soared' and 'rocketed', but these are often applied to incorrect data points or used in a way that obscures the meaning. The repetition of basic terms and the misuse of words like 'boosted' and 'bruise' (instead of 'injuries') indicate a limited range that struggles to convey the technical nature of the data accurately.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Subject-verb agreement is a recurring issue, such as 'The quantity of critical injuries were' and 'the quantity of minor injuries were of 3821'. There are also issues with article usage and sentence structure, such as 'the bruise from these weapons usually is the reason of serious issues'. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often faulty, and the control over basic grammar is inconsistent throughout the text.
