Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to address the task by summarizing the provided data. However, the analysis is superficial and lacks a clear, logical structure. While you mention the categories (fatal, serious, slight) and the percentage increases, the data is presented in a fragmented way that makes it difficult to follow. You failed to clearly distinguish between the initial figures and the final figures, and the description of trends is confusing. To improve, you must group data logically (e.g., comparing the start and end points) and ensure that the specific figures provided in the table are accurately reported and compared rather than just listed.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear paragraph structure, which makes it difficult to follow the progression of ideas. While there are some attempts at linking words like 'overall' and 'in conclusion', these are used mechanically and do not effectively connect the sentences. The lack of proper punctuation, such as missing capital letters at the start of sentences and inconsistent spacing, further disrupts the flow of the text. To improve, you should organize your response into distinct paragraphs: an introduction, an overview of the main trends, and two body paragraphs focusing on specific data points.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive. You frequently use basic verbs like 'rise', 'increase', and 'climb' without much variation. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'diffirent', 'increasae', 'cunlusion', 'begening', and 'percantage', which distract the reader. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary to describe trends, such as 'fluctuate', 'soar', 'decline', or 'remain stable', and ensure that you check your spelling carefully before submitting your work.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that impede communication. There are significant issues with sentence structure, including run-on sentences and a lack of proper punctuation. Subject-verb agreement is often incorrect, for example, 'all kind of injuries are increases' and 'fatal injuries are less then serious'. Additionally, the misuse of articles and prepositions is common throughout the text. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring every sentence has a clear subject and verb, and practicing the correct use of articles and verb tenses.
