Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to summarize the data but fails to provide a clear overview of the main trends. While it mentions some figures, the selection of data is inconsistent and lacks analytical depth. The report fails to compare the categories (fatal, serious, slight) effectively, and the description of the data is often inaccurate or confusing, such as the claim that the database was 'not clear' in 2007. To improve, you should group data logically (e.g., by injury type or time period) and ensure that the most significant trends—such as the overall increase—are clearly highlighted rather than just listing isolated numbers.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical progression is weak. The use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or misused, such as 'After that, every two years later this account was increased by time,' which is grammatically awkward and confusing. The transition between ideas is disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow the development of the trends. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks coherence, as the sentences do not flow logically from one to the next.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and repetitive. Phrases like 'huge difference' and 'huge compared to' are imprecise and lack the academic tone required for Task 1. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'this account was increased' and 'the attacks hit on the peak level.' To reach a higher band, you should incorporate more precise terminology related to data description, such as 'fluctuated,' 'peaked,' 'remained stable,' or 'significant increase,' and avoid informal phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. There are issues with subject-verb agreement ('this reported crossed'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward sentence structures ('there were a huge difference looked'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage and capitalization. While there is an attempt to use complex sentences, they are often faulty. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement and tense consistency would significantly improve the accuracy of your writing.
