Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response is severely under-length, containing only 93 words compared to the required 150-word minimum. Because of this, it fails to fully present an overview or report all the main features of the table, cutting off mid-sentence. While the student attempts an introductory statement and an overall summary, the underdeveloped nature of the response restricts the score to Band 4.0 under official IELTS guidelines for under-length writing.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0
The text attempts to follow a standard structure by providing an introduction and an overall trend paragraph, followed by an aborted detail paragraph. However, the logical progression is hindered by poor paragraphing, informal transitions such as 'Moving towards the deatails', and mechanical or inaccurate use of cohesive devices like 'what extands out'. Because the response cuts off abruptly at the end, overall cohesion is heavily disrupted.
Lexical Resource — Band 4.5
The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with several lexical and spelling errors such as 'extands' instead of 'stands' and 'deatails' instead of 'details'. Phrases like 'very less injuries were happened' show a lack of control over standard collocations and word choice. The range is limited and minimally adequate for basic expression, but struggles to convey precise academic data.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5
The grammar is characterized by frequent errors, particularly in tense usage, voice, and prepositional phrases (e.g., 'injuries were happened' instead of 'injuries occurred', 'it gone high, then more high at last became decrease'). Sentence structures are overly simplistic or incorrectly formed, and punctuation is occasionally awkward. Because the text breaks off mid-sentence, complex structures cannot be reliably demonstrated.
