The table shows the number of fatal, serious and slight injuries resulting from gun and knife crime in Great Britain from 1998 to 2007 and the percentage increase for each degree of injury over the period.

Overall, there were an increase of all degrees of injuries over the given period with a significant increase in slight injuries.
The statistics of fatal injuries shows an increase of 18% over the time with fluctuation in data. Highest fatal crime were recorded in 2001 to 2002.
Serious injuries accounted for 194% increase over the years, with maximum number reported during [redacted phone] with a number of 476.
