The table shows the number of fatal, serious and slight injuries resulting from gun and knife crime in Great Britain from 1998 to 2007 and the percentage increase for each degree of injury over the period.
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table represents the data of crimes such as; fatal, serious and slight injuries resulting from gun and knife, in Great Britain recorded in the years [redacted phone]. It shows the numbers of each crime and the percentage increase for each degree of injury.
First of all, in the year [redacted phone], the total number of crimes was at its lowest with figures 864, comprising of fatal, serious and slight injury as 49, 162, and 653 respectively. In the following years till 2005, the number of crimes kept rising each year however, in [redacted phone], despite the increase in serious injuries- the total number slightly reduced to 3821 due to decrease in numbers of fatal and slight injuries to 49 and 3296 respectively.
Secondly, the highest total number of crimes were recorded in the year [redacted phone], with figures 3912, which includes more number of slight injuries recorded as 3424 while 411 and 77 are the numbers of serious and fatal injuries respectively.
The total percentage increase of crimes in years [redacted phone] is recorded as 342% including more slight injuries with figures 405, serious injuries at 194% while the fatal injuries has the lowest percentage among them with figures 18% only.
