The table shows the number of fatal, serious and slight injuries resulting from gun and knife crime in Great Britain from 1998 to 2007 and the percentage increase for each degree of injury over the period.

The bar charts illustrates the number of three types of injuris fatal,serious and slight resulting from gun, knife crime in Great Britain over the nine-year periods from 1998 to 2007 and with proportion increased for each degress of injury over the period.
Overall, it is clear that gun and knife crime statics, the slight injuries recoded the highest proportion over the period. In contrast, fetal injuries recorded the lowest rates througout the timeframe. Whereas, serious injuries showed a slight fluctuation.
Regarding the injuries, the gun and knife crime records varied considerably across the years. The slight injuries recorded the highest number in early years at approximately 653 in [redacted phone]. Additionally, these numbers gradually increased to peaked at 3296 in [redacted phone].
