The table shows the number of fatal, serious and slight injuries resulting from gun and knife crime in Great Britain from 1998 to 2007 and the percentage increase for each degree of injury over the period.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The table provide data about the number of fatal, serious and slight injuries from gun and knife crime in Great Britain between 1998 and 2007and the percemtage rise for each degree of injury throughout the period.

Overall, the number of injury for slight injury remained highest over the period, while serious injury ranked second. Howevre, the number for total crime statistics recorded the lowest figure.

Examining the details of fatal inry noted from 49 to 95 figures between 1998 and 2002. Meanwhile, the number of gun and knife crime decline from 2002 to 2007, indicating a fluctuation. Fatal injury increased by 18% over the period.
