Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent times, globalization has seen a surge due to rising utilization of internet, people travelling across borders, growing interdependent trade and exchanging traditions. A significant number of individuals hold the notion that this interconnectedness among the states is paramount. I believe, this growing interaction is substantial for humanity at a larger scale. The following three paragraphs will illustrate the reasons for my stance, along with a conclusion.
Globalization has aided humanity not to indulge into war. Many states, currently, are doing trade with one another. These states will never go into war. For example, owing to increasing trade relations between China and USA, they would never start a full-fledged war eventhough both are global competitors in economic sector, and have opposite ideologies, such as communism and capitalism respectively. Interaction among the communites have made them compel to continue their cardial relationships.
Moreover, growing interaction has also helped people to learn about different languages and cultures. People in past time, living at one place, were completely unaware of the cultures and languages of other regions. However, globalization has supported individuals to become multi-lingual and multi-cultural. With rising connectedness, more people often grasp opportunities to visit abroad. When they return to their native country, they bring back along with them, the culture and language of that state to which they had been. For instance, my friend went on a summer exchange program to USA, when he returned, we learnt alot about USA culture from him, and he became quite fluent in english language after this visit. Golabalization has risen the interest of people in other culturals and traditions of the world.
To summarize, many people believe that the expanding interconnectedness among people is a good thing. I am also a supporter of this arguement. Globalization has supported humanity in many ways such as to avoid world wars and to increase chances of being multi-cultural. If more and more individuals would be connected, the world would be a place of peace.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both the general view and your own position: the introduction and conclusion clearly support increased global interaction, and the two body paragraphs offer relevant reasons—reduced likelihood of conflict and greater cultural understanding. The exchange-program example gives the second point useful personal support. However, the claim that trading states “will never go into war” is too absolute and needs qualification or stronger evidence. The first argument is also less fully explained than the cultural example: clarify how economic interdependence discourages conflict and acknowledge that it cannot prevent every war. Developing both reasons with more precise explanation would make the response more complete and convincing.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction states your view, each body paragraph develops a separate reason, and the conclusion restates your position. Sequencing is generally easy to follow, with transitions such as “Moreover” and “To summarize,” and the example in the second body paragraph supports the point immediately before it. This meets the lower-band expectation for coherent organisation and shows some of the flexibility associated with stronger cohesion. At times, however, linking feels formulaic, particularly the announcement that “The following three paragraphs” will explain the stance, when the essay then presents two supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. Some references, such as “these states” and “this visit,” could also be made more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “interconnectedness,” “interdependent trade,” “multi-lingual,” and “ideologies.” These choices show an effort to use less common language, and the main ideas remain understandable. However, some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, such as “rising utilization of internet,” “indulge into war,” and “cardial relationships.” There are also spelling and word-form errors, including “Golabalization,” “culturals,” and “arguement.” These do not prevent the reader from understanding your position, but they reduce precision and polish. Prefer familiar, accurate collocations over ambitious wording when unsure, and proofread spelling and forms carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “the culture and language of that state to which he had been” and a concession in the China–USA example. Meaning is generally clear, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “rising utilization of internet” needs an article, while “Interaction among the communites have made them” has a subject–verb agreement problem. The sentence beginning “For instance, my friend went…” joins two independent clauses with only a comma, and “If more and more individuals would be connected” uses an unsuitable conditional form. Review articles, agreement, sentence boundaries, and conditional structures; accurate control of these patterns would make your varied sentences more effective.
