Student answer (Band 5.5)
It is well said that: "The world has become a Global Village". For us globalisation is very important because it is important for us to interact with each other, to know about each other, for trade, for earning and most importantly for our development Most of the peoples believe that it is a very good thing, but every thing has two sides of view positive as well as negative. So, here we will discuss about increased globalisation.
We can clearly see that globalistion is increased from recent years because of internet, air travel, trade and popular culture. As air travel as made easy for us to travel between different countries and we can reach to our destination in a short period of time. trade has been increased, we can import and export products easily. We can see, interact and gain experience of different and popular cultures. Our lifestyle has been changing.
We can interact with many different nations. According to my opinion, it is very good thing. Because by interacting we can promote our culture, tradition, language and can make strong bonds with them as make policies as well as our foreign policy strengthened.
In our practical life, we can see many examples where we feel that globalistaion is a very good thing. Like once I was out of country for vacations and my mother become suddenly ill. I have to come back immediately. If I travel by land it take two or three days ahead. So, I decided to travel by air and within 17 hours I reached back to my home, went to hospital and meet by mother. The distance which take days was covered in hours just beacuse of globalistion. So, that's why I thought globalistion is a good thing all around the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the benefits of globalisation and providing a personal opinion. However, the development is limited. While you mention that globalisation has both positive and negative sides, you do not actually discuss the negative aspects, which makes the argument one-sided. The personal example provided is relevant but occupies a large portion of the essay, which detracts from a more balanced, academic discussion of the broader societal impacts. To reach a higher band, ensure you explore the counter-arguments or broader implications of globalisation more thoroughly rather than relying solely on a personal anecdote.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the flow between ideas is somewhat mechanical. You use basic transitions like 'So' and 'Because', which are often used at the start of sentences, creating a choppy rhythm. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'As air travel as made easy', where the logical connection to the previous sentence is weak. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks sophisticated cohesive devices to link arguments smoothly. Improving the variety of linking words would significantly enhance the logical progression of your ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. You rely on repetitive phrasing, such as 'very good thing', which appears multiple times. There are also several spelling errors, such as 'globalistion' and 'peoples' (used incorrectly as a plural of person). While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'import and export' and 'foreign policy', the overall range is limited. To improve, focus on using more academic synonyms and ensuring accurate spelling of key terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'As air travel as made easy' (incorrect verb usage), 'I have to come back' (tense inconsistency), and 'meet by mother' (preposition error). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some sentences lacking proper structure. While the meaning is generally understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focus on subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage to improve your accuracy.
