Student answer (Band 5.5)
Globalisation must be an important aspect for all the nations. A morning coffee imported from Switzerland, sitting in Germany and driving a car of China, isn't it the perfect life. Air travels, mutual interests, trade and popular culture plays a major role in this. It has many advantages like reducing poverty, improving economy and overall lifestyle of the people. On he other hand, people can reduction in job opportunities, increased expenses, imposed cultural trends, and pandemic etc.
While discussing the advantages, major one is the reduction of poverty in the nation. Globalisation opens path for trading, and tourism, that helps in increading the economy of the country and hence decreased the overall value of the goods, making it cheaper and affordable for the lower class economy to survive. It improves the lifestyle of the people and helps them think on a broader level. Students travel for their studies all around the world and experience all the pros and cons, which helps them grow and think outside the box. With these advantages comes the factors that affects the nation negatively because of globalisation. If a nation is developed and has good opportunities for its people, globalisation can affect when people all over the world will fly towards that nation for better opportunities, rsiking the chances of the people living there. Increased travel and tourism will enforce the country to spend more on its renovations and structural balances. Also, the cuktures from other nations will be adopted and the ones who dont want to change themselves will feek the odd one out, forcing them to go with the flow. Increased globalisation resulyts in heavier chances of pandemic, COVID is the best example for that
Keeping in view the pros and cons discussed aboved, I believe that globalisation has more advantages than the opposite, and should be encouraged. Relevent laws and administrations must be enforced by all the nations to work for the best of their people and make globalisation more of an advantage for the people. The best example I have given is of the routine one can live in because of this.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, providing a clear position that globalisation is beneficial. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While the advantages are explained, the discussion on disadvantages is a bit disjointed, particularly the mention of 'pandemic' and 'structural balances,' which lack sufficient elaboration. The introduction is slightly informal in tone ('isn't it the perfect life'), which detracts from the academic style required. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with clear, logical reasoning rather than listing several disparate ideas in a single paragraph.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'While discussing,' 'On the other hand,' and 'Keeping in view,' which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is interrupted by awkward phrasing or grammatical slips, such as the transition between the discussion of poverty and the subsequent negative impacts. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the internal structure of the paragraphs could be more cohesive to improve the overall flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their ideas clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'globalisation,' 'poverty,' and 'structural balances.' However, there are several spelling errors ('increading,' 'rsiking,' 'cuktures,' 'feek,' 'resulyts,' 'aboved') and some awkward collocations ('structural balances,' 'heavier chances of pandemic'). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not prevent the message from being understood. A wider range of precise, academic vocabulary would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('culture plays,' 'factors that affects'), missing articles, and awkward sentence construction ('Globalisation must be an important aspect for all the nations'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and the run-on nature of some sentences. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors limits the score. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring complex sentences are constructed correctly.
