Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses all parts of the prompt, providing a clear position that globalisation is a positive development. The ideas are relevant and generally well-supported with examples, such as the mention of Gift City and the transfer of technology. However, the development is slightly uneven; while the economic and technological points are well-argued, the discussion on cultural exchange is somewhat brief. To reach a higher band, ensure that every paragraph provides a deep, balanced exploration of the arguments presented, ensuring that the 'discussion' aspect is as robust as the 'opinion' aspect.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is logically organised with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Each paragraph has a central theme, and the progression of ideas is easy to follow. Cohesive devices such as 'To elaborate', 'As a result', and 'Furthermore' are used effectively to link sentences. However, there are minor issues with referencing and punctuation, such as the inconsistent use of capitalisation and the slightly mechanical transition between some ideas. Improving the variety of cohesive devices and ensuring smoother transitions between paragraphs would enhance the flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate and allows for clear communication. You have used some topic-specific terms like 'trade barriers', 'infrastructure', and 'stereotypes'. However, there are several spelling errors ('Tourisam', 'eloborate', 'employement', 'thier', 'Perticulerly') and some awkward phrasing, such as 'essential things' instead of 'an essential phenomenon'. To improve, focus on accuracy in spelling and collocation. Using more precise academic vocabulary, such as 'socio-economic advancement' instead of 'grow national economy', would help demonstrate a wider and more sophisticated range.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is always clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the globalization', 'the india'), subject-verb agreement ('companies are invest'), and punctuation (misuse of commas and capitalisation). Complex structures are attempted, but they often contain minor errors that prevent the writing from being error-free. To achieve a higher band, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensure that complex sentences are constructed with precision.
