Student answer (Band 5.5)
First and foremost , it is really clear that internet, air travel, trade and popular culture have made World the global. Also , as nowadays internet is used by every single person therefore this soar increase in globalisation was obvious.I firmly believe that internet , air travel , trade and popular culture has played a significant role in making World more global.
So, the question is how these all things make the rise in globalisation ?. Like we all use internet for variety of purposes . One of the reasons for using it is to communicate with other people for enstance to contact our friends or our family . Sometimes , on social media we contact people from different nations and countries so, by this way we get connected to people from different cultures . It can be illustrated by the use of an application called omegle , where we got connected to people all aorund the world .
Proceeding with my percpective , air travel also had a key role in globalisation . As it is known that air travel have made travel really easy and fast due to this every person wants to travel across world to explore more about world. A clear example of this is when I travelled to Italy i met new people there and breif them about my country culture and also got to know about the culture of Italy there.
I want to conclude this by stating that internet and air travel are the greatest inovation of the history that have made amny impacts on our life and on society .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the role of globalisation and providing a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. While you mention the internet and air travel, the explanations are somewhat superficial and rely heavily on personal anecdotes rather than broader societal analysis. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the 'good thing' aspect of the prompt by discussing economic, cultural, or political benefits in more detail. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not fully synthesise the arguments presented in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive (e.g., 'Also', 'So', 'Proceeding with my perspective'). There are instances where the logical flow between sentences is disjointed, such as the transition into the example about Omegle. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the paragraphing could be more effectively used to separate distinct ideas. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing such as 'really clear', 'every single person', and 'greatest innovation'. There are also several spelling errors (e.g., 'enstance', 'aorund', 'inovation', 'amny') and minor collocation issues (e.g., 'soar increase', 'made World the global'). To improve, focus on using more academic vocabulary and ensuring correct spelling of common terms. Expanding your repertoire of topic-specific collocations related to globalisation would also be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in articles (e.g., 'made World the global'), subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'internet... have made'), and punctuation (e.g., spacing around commas). Some sentences are grammatically awkward, which occasionally forces the reader to re-read to understand the intended meaning. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic grammatical accuracy and proofreading for punctuation and article usage is essential.
