Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 156 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you state your position clearly in the introduction, the body paragraphs are underdeveloped. The second paragraph touches on trade, but the third paragraph is incomplete, consisting of only one sentence. To achieve a higher band, you must fully expand on your arguments with specific examples and ensure the essay is of sufficient length to cover all parts of the prompt thoroughly. The current brevity prevents a full discussion of the topic.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay shows some attempt at logical organization, using transition signals like 'To commence with' and 'Furthermore'. However, the progression is severely hampered by the incomplete nature of the final paragraph. Paragraphing is present but the content within the paragraphs is not sufficiently developed to create a cohesive argument. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the phrase 'The country like America, Iran have rich and abundant material', which lacks grammatical cohesion. To improve, ensure each paragraph has a clear topic sentence followed by supporting evidence and a concluding thought.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for basic communication but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on simple phrasing such as 'make connections' and 'good thing'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'globalism help to interact' (should be 'globalization helps') and 'abundant material' (which is vague). To improve, try to incorporate more academic collocations and precise terminology related to the topic of globalization, such as 'interconnectedness', 'economic integration', or 'cultural exchange'.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues like 'globalization have made' (should be 'has made') and 'country... have rich' (should be 'countries... have'). There are also missing articles and awkward sentence structures, such as 'with the help of internet, everybody can easily make connections'. The range of structures is limited, consisting mostly of simple or slightly flawed complex sentences. Focusing on basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles will significantly improve your accuracy.
