Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt by discussing the benefits of globalisation, but the development is limited. While you provide a personal opinion, the arguments regarding technology and job markets are somewhat disconnected from the broader concept of globalisation. The essay lacks a clear, sustained focus on the 'interaction between nations' as requested by the prompt. The ideas are repetitive, and the connection between the examples (like 5G/6G) and the overall impact of globalisation remains underdeveloped. To improve, ensure each paragraph directly links back to how globalisation facilitates interaction between nations, rather than focusing solely on technological advancement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly' and 'Secondly' to structure the response. However, the progression of ideas is often unclear, and the logical flow between sentences is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs is weak, making it difficult for the reader to follow your argument. Referencing is sometimes ambiguous, and the transition between the introduction and the body paragraphs is mechanical. To achieve a higher score, focus on using a wider range of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'great', 'good', and 'things', which restricts your ability to express complex ideas. There are several instances of incorrect word choice, such as 'grow up fastly' (should be 'grown rapidly') and 'great full' (likely meant 'grateful' or 'beneficial'). The use of 'toke' instead of 'take' and the repetitive use of 'technology' indicate a need for a broader range of synonyms and more precise collocations. To improve, practice using topic-specific vocabulary related to international relations and economic integration.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are consistent issues with verb tenses, such as 'has grow up' instead of 'has grown', and subject-verb agreement errors like 'computer is made'. Sentence structures are generally simple, and attempts at complex sentences often contain errors, such as 'people can toke their jobs... which are reliable for both country economy'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with the use of lowercase 'i' and missing commas. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common tense and agreement errors.
