Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the required word count of 250 words, reaching only 140 words. Furthermore, the essay is incomplete, ending abruptly mid-sentence in the second body paragraph. Because the response is unfinished, the task is only partially addressed. The position is stated in the introduction, but the arguments are not fully developed or supported with sufficient detail. To improve, you must complete the essay and ensure each body paragraph provides a clear, extended argument with relevant examples to meet the minimum length requirement and fully address the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay uses basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the other hand', which helps with the overall structure. However, because the text is incomplete, the logical progression is cut off. Paragraphing is attempted, but the lack of a conclusion and the abrupt ending hinder the overall coherence of the piece. To reach a higher band, ensure that each paragraph is fully developed and that you include a concluding summary that reinforces your main position.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and contains several spelling errors, such as 'debete' (debate), 'globallization' (globalisation), 'perspactives' (perspectives), 'treditionn' (traditions), and 'politients' (politicians). There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'famous treditionn has maximise globalisation' and 'in short of time'. The vocabulary is generally repetitive and lacks the precision required for higher bands. You should focus on learning the correct spelling of common academic terms and practice using collocations in context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. Examples include 'other claim' (others claim), 'both sides offers' (both sides offer), 'reason of globalisation are advance technology' (the reasons for globalisation are advanced technology), and 'all things can be an accessible' (all things can be accessible). The sentence structures are relatively simple, and there is a lack of control over basic subject-verb agreement and article usage. To improve, focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and practice constructing more complex, error-free sentences.
