Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5

The response attempts to address the prompt by discussing the benefits of globalisation and providing a personal opinion, but it falls short of fully developing the ideas due to severe linguistic limitations and the fact that the text is under the 250-word minimum requirement at 246 words. The position is stated, and basic examples like travel and social media are mentioned, but the arguments remain repetitive, superficial, and under-developed. Because the word count requirement is not met, a penalty is applied to this criterion, bringing the overall task achievement assessment down into the lower band spectrum.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The response has a basic structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a brief conclusion, but the progression of ideas is frequently disrupted by incoherent sentences and inadequate referencing. Cohesive devices are either missing or misused, resulting in mechanical and jerky transitions, such as 'Yes i allso think' and 'On these time'. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal logical flow within paragraphs is weak. Pronoun referencing is also problematic, making it hard to follow which nation or group is being discussed.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is very basic, repetitive, and plagued by severe spelling and word-choice errors that frequently impede communication. Examples include 'in the hole world', 'faith on', 'incresed', 'soshial madia', 'reprisend', 'luxgry', 'bay', and 'bater rilation'. While the writer attempts to discuss modern concepts like globalisation, social media, and luxury, the execution fails to demonstrate an adequate range or control of lexical items, placing the writing firmly in the lower bands for vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 3.5

Grammatical control is extremely weak throughout the response, featuring a very limited range of structures and pervasive errors. Nearly every sentence contains major structural flaws, incorrect verb tenses, missing articles, and faulty prepositions, such as 'in has go to up', 'the incresed in the interaction', and 'how make it content and bussines'. Complex sentence attempts are invariably flawed and frequently obscure the intended meaning. Errors are dense and continuous, causing significant difficulty for the reader.
