Globalization has accelerated in recent years as a result of improvements in air travel, trade, internet, and popular culture. I truly feel that it is a beneficial trend and it connects people all over the world with more economical and educational opportunities.

One advantage of globalization is the way it promotes interactive culture and knowledge sharing. People can now travel in any area of the world in interval of hours, due to the advancements in airplane sector, which promotes international tourism and connects different countries. Furthermore, social media has an important role in this modernizing world. Social media sites such as Instagram and Facebook allow people from any corner of the world interact and discover new content of various niches. By this way, people stay updated about different event happening around the world and even discover new cultures. Moreover, people can access and enjoy a variety of music, movies, food, as well as fashion and stay connected to the upcoming trends worldwide.

Another point to be considered is education. By the pathways of globalization , foreign education has become easier and now more reachable due to various opportunities. Studying abroad allows people to extend their view and obtain perspective rom another country. Another key factor is the economic benefit that comes from trade and investment. For example, Bangladesh is well-known for its garment industry and through international trades have been crucial for its economic growth. Furthermore, remote employment has become common, allowing people to earn from their home. Online marketplaces like Amazon allows user to purchase goods from any country, which expands global business possibilities and ease for purchase.

In conclusion, globalization develops cultural bonds, improves education, and increases economic growth. Although there are some issues to consider, I feel the benefits much bigger than the negative aspects, making globalization an essential factor for today's world..

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing the views surrounding globalisation and providing a clear personal opinion that it is a beneficial trend. The introduction states the writer's position, and the body paragraphs present several relevant ideas, such as cultural sharing, educational opportunities, and economic growth. For example, the writer cites the garment industry in Bangladesh and remote employment as evidence of economic benefits. While the ideas are generally relevant and supported with examples, some points could be developed further with deeper explanation or more precise illustration. Overall, the response meets the criteria for Band 6.5, leaning towards Band 7 as all parts of the prompt are addressed with a clear position throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay displays a logical overall arrangement with clear paragraphing used to separate distinct themes like culture, education, and economics. Cohesive devices are employed to connect ideas, such as 'Furthermore,' 'Another point to be considered,' and 'In conclusion.' However, some transitional phrases and referencing feel slightly mechanical or repetitive, as seen in the repeated use of 'Another' at the start of paragraphs. Paragraph progression is generally clear, guiding the reader through the arguments effectively. Minor issues in cohesion keep this at a Band 6.5 or solid 6.0 level, where referencing is sometimes not entirely smooth.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The student uses an adequate and generally appropriate range of vocabulary for the task, successfully incorporating terms such as 'accelerated,' 'economical and educational opportunities,' 'interactive culture,' and 'remote employment.' There are some minor lexical inaccuracies and awkward phrasing, such as 'travel in any area of the world in interval of hours' instead of 'within a matter of hours' and 'ease for purchase' instead of 'ease of purchasing.' Despite these occasional errors in collocation and word choice, meaning is conveyed clearly throughout, aligning with the Band 6.0 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, demonstrating attempts at varied syntax with clauses like 'People can now travel...' and 'Online marketplaces like Amazon allows user to purchase...'. There are several grammatical and agreement errors throughout the text, such as 'internet' missing an article ('the internet'), 'people... allow' (missing plural agreement with 'allow'), and 'benefits much bigger' missing a verb ('are much bigger'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but minor errors persist and slightly detract from overall accuracy. The frequency and nature of these errors place the response firmly in the Band 6.0 category.
