Student answer (Band 5.5)

Internet becomes an indespenable part of our lives. Everyone using internet and connected with other nation, as a result through globalisation has rapidly incresed in recent years. Many people argue that the increased interaction between nation through globalisation is a good thing and on the other hand some believe it is not a good development. In my opioion, it is good developement because people can access to global markets creates cheaper goods and services and technology advancement.

Globalisation make it easier to us that we can interact with any nation effortlessly. Through internet we can access to global market and creates cheaper goods and services. For exaxmple, A nation can provide more food to their citizens because they can access food from other nation which will help them to built cheaper market and services. As a result, individuals can afford food at cheaper rate. Another advantages of Globalisation is that developing nations gain access to modern management techniques. For example, nation can trade with other nation and can invest in them which helps to grow ecomocial growth of nations.

There are several disadvantages of globilisation. People in developed countries can loose their jobs when companies shift to cheaper labours. For example, developed country can access to any nation and can access cheaper levels which can lead to unemployemnt for developed nation workers. Another reason is cultral loss because people can acquire developed countries culture. For example, In survey scientist find that under developoed countries acquired developed countries culture for economical growth. As a result, local Cultral loss and traditional culture become fade.

In conclusion, there are some disadvantage of globalisation but from my perspective advantages of globalisation outweigh the disadvantages because it help to gain advance technology and cheaper good and services.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses the task by discussing both views on globalisation and providing a personal opinion, which places it within the mid-range of expectations. However, the development of ideas remains somewhat limited and partial. For instance, the discussion on economic benefits touches on global markets and cheaper goods, but the arguments are repetitive and lack robust elaboration or specific real-world examples. Similarly, while disadvantages such as job losses in developed countries and cultural loss are introduced, they are supported by vague generalisations rather than fully extended points. Your position is presented in the introduction and conclusion, but the overall progression of ideas requires more depth to satisfy higher criteria.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay displays some logical organisation with clear paragraph breaks separating the introduction, advantages, disadvantages, and conclusion. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression, and cohesive devices are often inadequate or repetitive. You frequently rely on basic transitional phrases like 'For example' and 'As a result' to link sentences, and referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the ambiguous use of pronouns when discussing nations and workers. While the structure is coherent enough to follow the general argument, the mechanical use of cohesive ties and occasional lapses in logical flow prevent a smoother reading experience.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary choice is limited but minimally adequate to communicate your main points about globalisation. There are noticeable errors in word form, spelling, and word choice throughout the text, such as 'indespenable' instead of 'indispensable', 'incresed', 'opioion', 'developement', 'ecomocial', 'globilisation', 'looses', 'labours', 'levels' instead of 'labour', 'cultral', and 'under developoed'. These lexical inaccuracies and spelling slips occur frequently and occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader in grasping the exact intended meaning. To improve, you need to expand your range of less common vocabulary and pay closer attention to standard collocations and word formation.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The text demonstrates a limited range of sentence structures, relying heavily on simple sentences and basic coordination. When you attempt complex sentence forms, they are frequently faulty, marred by missing auxiliary verbs, incorrect subject-verb agreement, and awkward phrasing, such as 'Everyone using internet and connected with other nation' and 'Globalisation make it easier to us that we can interact'. There are frequent errors in articles, prepositions, and plurals across the essay, including 'access to global market', 'other nation', and 'traditional culture become fade'. These grammatical errors are frequent and can cause difficulty for the reader, indicating a need for firmer control over basic sentence construction and grammatical patterns.
