Most of the people before globalization believe that only their country is the complete world and they don`t know that other countires are also existed. However after the development of technology people started to known about each other and it initiates the migration of people from country to country for the purpose of trades and career oppurtunities. For example, people before have limited to work in their countries and they don`t know about the immigration rules, but now they have easily comunicate with foreigners and get a job offer while sitting in a home.
I believe that, Globalization has a vital impact on the economy of many countries, it increases the trade beween countries and have provide a greater oppurtunities for those countries whose export are limited because their items were unkown for many countries. Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the prompt by discussing the benefits of globalisation and providing the writer's own opinion regarding its economic impact. However, the development of ideas remains somewhat limited and partial. While the introduction states a position, the arguments presented—such as the mention of Pakistan exporting surgical items—are restricted in scope and lack deeper extension. Some parts of the task are addressed more fully than others, and the tendency to over-generalise or provide under-developed explanations keeps the response at this level. To move closer to higher bands, the writer should ensure that all main ideas are fully elaborated with broader context and more thorough supporting examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt to structure the writing into an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas, such as technological connectivity and economic benefits. However, cohesion is at times mechanical or faulty. For instance, transitional phrases and referencing are not always managed smoothly, as seen with abrupt shifts between sentences in the second body paragraph. To achieve a higher band, the writer needs to employ cohesive devices more flexibly and ensure that the logical progression between sentences and paragraphs is seamless and natural.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to communicate basic ideas about globalisation and technology. There are attempts to use less common items, such as 'manufucturer' and 'particullary', but these are marred by noticeable errors in spelling, word form, and word choice. Other phrasing like 'growing fastly' and 'a last few yeas' demonstrates a limited range of vocabulary with frequent lexical slips. These errors do not entirely impede communication, but they restrict the precision and flexibility of the writing. To improve, the writer should focus on expanding their vocabulary range, mastering word forms, and paying closer attention to standard spelling and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying mostly on basic sentences interspersed with attempts at complex forms. These complex attempts are frequently faulty, containing persistent errors in verb tenses, articles, plurals, and subject-verb agreement, such as 'technology has revamping' and 'number of people think'. There are also frequent punctuation errors and issues with prepositional usage within grammatical patterns. While the meaning is generally understandable despite these frequent errors, the lack of error-free complex sentences prevents the writing from reaching a higher standard. Improving grammatical control and sentence variety is essential for further progress.
