Student answer (Band 6.0)

These days, globalisation has significantly rose dut to the modernisation and technical developments such as internet, fights, buisinesses and popularity of culture. The large segment of society maintains that this hightened interactions is highly advantageous. I strongly agree with this perpective, as internation interactions drives economis properity and bridges cultural gaps.

To begin with, the economic integration faciliated by globalisation has brought immanse benefitts to both developed and developing nations. Through free trade agreements and multinational cooprations, companies can exchange good and services efficiently, allowing consumers access to a wide variety of affordable products. furthermore, globalisation has led to a rapid transfer of knowledge and technology. For instance, the widespread use of internet allows developing nations to adopt advanced educational resources and medical breakthroughs instantaneously

In addition to economic merits, increased global interaction fosters unprecedented cultural harmony and mutual understanding. In the past, geographical barriers often bred isolation and xenophobia. Today, through expouser to international popular culture, global media and accessible air travel, individual can experiance and appreciate different lifestyle firsthand. This culture exchange encourages tolerance and builds empathy across borders.

In cooonclusion, the rapid expansion of globalisation vis trade, technology, and travel has tranformed the world into an interconnected community. I firmly believe this is a positive development because it not only elevates global living standards through economic and technological sharing but also promotes international peace and cooperation.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

Your position is clear from the introduction—“I strongly agree”—and you discuss two relevant benefits: economic and technological sharing, and greater cultural understanding. The examples of access to affordable products and educational or medical advances help explain the first point. However, the cultural argument is asserted more than developed: explain more specifically how exposure to other lifestyles builds tolerance or cooperation. The conclusion restates your view, but the response does not fully meet the task’s development expectations because it contains 229 words, below the required 250. Add a further explanation or concrete example to extend one of your main points, rather than repeating the same benefits.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0

The essay has a clear overall progression: an introduction states your view, two body paragraphs present separate reasons, and a conclusion summarises the argument. Paragraphing is appropriate, and signposts such as “To begin with” and “In addition” make the sequence easy to follow. The ideas within each paragraph generally remain focused. To make the organisation more flexible and cohesive, connect claims and examples more explicitly—for instance, explain how the example of internet access demonstrates the transfer of knowledge mentioned immediately before it. The transition “In the past” also introduces a contrast that could be developed more fully. Overall, the structure is logical, though some links between supporting details could be clearer.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “economic integration,” “multinational corporations,” “xenophobia,” and “mutual understanding.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond basic terms, and the intended meaning is usually recoverable. However, spelling errors are frequent enough to distract, as in “faciliated,” “benefitts,” “cooprations,” and “expouser.” Some word combinations and forms are also inaccurate, such as “hightened interactions” and “international interactions drives.” Aim for accurate spelling and natural collocations, and check word forms before submitting. More precise phrasing would also help distinguish the benefits of trade, technology transfer, and cultural exchange.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, including the opening cause-and-effect structure and the sentence beginning “Through free trade agreements…,” which combines a main clause with a participial phrase. Most sentences communicate the intended meaning, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “this hightened interactions is” has a number-agreement problem, while “international interactions drives” also mismatches subject and verb. There are issues with articles and plurals in “internet” and “individual can,” and the final sentence would benefit from careful punctuation and proofreading. Check agreement and article use systematically, while continuing to practise complex sentences so that added detail remains accurate.
