Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You give a clear opinion in the opening, saying you “strongly support” globalisation, and you mention relevant benefits involving social media, online business, travel and trade. However, the response addresses the task only minimally: these points are listed rather than explained with specific reasons or examples, and the final reference to environmental effects is unfinished. The discussion therefore does not adequately explore the view or develop your own position. The response is also 148 words, below the required 250 words; the eight words copied from the prompt are not included in that count. To improve, develop two or three points in full, explain their effects, and include a relevant example before reaching a complete conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is an attempt to organise the response: you begin with an introduction and use “Firstly,” “However,” and “Although” to introduce further points. The ideas are broadly related to globalisation, but they are not arranged into a clear, coherent progression. Several points run together in one paragraph, and the contrast markers do not establish clear relationships—for example, “However by air travelling” does not clearly contrast with the point about social media. The final environmental idea is left incomplete, so the response has no developed ending. Use separate paragraphs for your position, supporting reasons and conclusion, and connect each idea with accurate, purposeful transitions and clear references.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use a basic range of topic-related vocabulary, including “social media,” “international client,” “heritage places,” and “trading,” which helps communicate the general subject. There are also attempts to express broader ideas, such as globalisation bringing people together. However, vocabulary is repetitive and some word choices or spellings make meaning less clear, as in “changed the visions,” “learn culutres,” and “environmental thought.” Several phrases are not natural in this context, including “make human life easy” and “rare thing.” Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe globalisation as “broadening people’s perspectives” and say that trade gives consumers access to “products unavailable locally.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentence forms and use linking clauses, including “Although by trading that help us to buy rare thing from the whole world.” However, sentence structures are very limited overall, and frequent errors in sentence formation, verb forms, agreement and punctuation sometimes obscure the intended meaning. For instance, “globalization bring people together” lacks subject–verb agreement, while “Firstly internet that help us” is an incomplete clause. The opening also joins sentences without appropriate spacing or punctuation. Practise writing complete subject–verb sentences first, then combine them using controlled subordinate clauses. Check agreement and verb forms, and use full stops to separate ideas so that longer sentences remain clear.
