Student answer (Band 4.5)

Yeah i think the new word order the globalisation is the major role to increse the interatction between different countries.I beleive that because the globilasation the thingd are very chnage. we a have so many access and fast things to get it like if i need some air ticket just simple i have to booked ticket from any flight scanner and book it from all over the world. Now we see so many changes are we see beacuse of internet like for example if someone is living in a village so we will know about the kimchi we know the culture of every country like i am from asia country but i love italian food because of internet i know about so many food of italain and also try to cook for myself. Now adays if i need something from usa i just order from my country within one week i received that think so that is the good change that we see. This change we see also in trade between two countries before it was really hard to trade and take so m,uch time but now because of new technology we have a big ships to trasnfer from one country to another like cruid oil is the basic need of every country so we buy froom so many countries and trade with them.so globalisation has rapidly increased. And i think it will also changes more in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5

You give a clear positive view of globalisation and provide relevant examples involving air travel, access to international food and online shopping, and trade in crude oil. These examples show why you consider increased interaction beneficial. However, the response mainly lists advantages and does not meaningfully discuss the view or consider any limitations, so the task is only partially addressed. Your ideas are also brief: for instance, the point about buying goods from the USA is not developed with a specific explanation of how this benefits people or countries. The response is 236 words, below the required 250. To strengthen the answer, address both sides of the view, state your position clearly in an introduction, and explain each example in more depth.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

The response stays broadly focused on globalisation, and examples about travel, food, shopping and trade give it a basic sequence. However, it is presented as one long paragraph, with no clear introduction, body paragraphs or conclusion. Ideas often run together, as in the shift from learning about kimchi to Italian food and then ordering goods from the USA. Linking phrases such as “like,” “because of” and “so” are repeated, and some connections are difficult to follow. The final sentence repeats the general claim rather than summarising the main reasons. Organise the essay into distinct paragraphs, give each paragraph one main point, and use clearer transitions to show how examples support your opinion.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some task-relevant vocabulary, including “globalisation,” “interaction,” “trade,” “culture” and “technology,” and the examples make your meaning generally understandable. However, the range is basic and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “now,” “because of” and “so many.” Frequent spelling errors, including “globilasation,” “interatction” and “trasnfer,” make the writing harder to read. Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “fast things to get it” and “the new word order,” which do not communicate your intended meaning clearly. Build a more accurate range of topic vocabulary and check spelling; for example, use “international connections” or “cross-border trade” where appropriate, and choose precise phrases for the benefits you describe.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas using clauses with “because,” “if” and “like,” and the reader can usually identify your main point. However, sentence structures are mostly simple or joined into long, poorly controlled sentences, and grammatical errors occur frequently. Examples include “I have to booked ticket,” “we a have so many access,” and “it will also changes more,” where verb forms or sentence construction are faulty. Articles and agreement are also inconsistent, as in “the globalisation is the major role.” Punctuation is limited, so several ideas run together. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add controlled complex sentences; check subject–verb agreement, articles and verb forms when editing.
