Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You present a relevant view of globalisation, mainly explaining how online trade connects people and creates business opportunities, while also noting the risk of fraud. The examples of your brother selling on eBay and a neighbour being cheated help make these points concrete. However, the task asks you to discuss the view that increased interaction between nations is beneficial and give your own opinion. Your position is only partly clear: the introduction calls the interaction “commendable,” but the conclusion gives a mixed summary without stating which side you ultimately support. The discussion also focuses heavily on internet business, with little consideration of other forms of globalisation such as travel or cultural exchange. Develop a clear overall opinion and explain both benefits and drawbacks more fully.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph beginning “To begin with,” a second paragraph on disadvantages, and a concluding sentence. This helps the reader identify the main stages of your discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the opening repeats the idea that globalisation has increased, and the first body paragraph moves between internet use, business, communication, and your brother’s example without consistently showing how each point supports the argument. Some linking expressions are mechanical or awkward, including “Furthermore,” “Secondly,” and “To sum up, Although… however.” Referencing is also unclear in places, such as “he blocked my friend,” after the person is introduced as someone living near your home. Group related ideas more tightly and use transitions that show the precise relationship between them.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “globalisation,” “online trade,” “platforms,” “global village,” and “fraud.” These choices show an effort to discuss both opportunities and risks. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make the meaning difficult to follow, such as “fastly surged,” “commendable substace,” “impact of scame,” and “business and cluture.” Some combinations are also unnatural, for example “trust on others” and “makes money by using this application.” Repetition of “internet,” “business,” and “world” further restricts the range. Aim for accurate topic vocabulary and natural collocations, and check spelling carefully; for instance, use “rapidly increased,” “online transactions,” and “be cautious of strangers” where appropriate.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You use some simple sentences and attempt longer structures, including “Although, through internet our life became easy… however, it is also the biggest reason of fraud.” This shows an effort to connect contrasting ideas, but the structure is not controlled: “although” and “however” should not be used together in this way. Errors occur frequently in sentence construction and verb forms, as in “cluture became an easy,” “world have becomed,” and “then he blocked my friend.” Articles, agreement, and plurals are also often missing or inaccurate, as in “internet became an important part of our life” and “different kind of platforms.” Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, particularly at sentence beginnings. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then build complex sentences with one clear linking structure.
