Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You address the topic by discussing interaction through the internet, air travel, and entertainment, and you state a positive view in the opening and conclusion. However, the response contains 194 words, so it is 56 words below the 250-word minimum; 29 copied words from the prompt were not counted. This limits how fully you can explain your ideas. Several points are only briefly asserted: for example, the accountancy-firm example is relevant but its benefits are not explained, and the travel paragraph repeats that people share culture without showing the effects. Your final opinion, “i have love globalisation,” is also unclear and unsupported. Develop each reason with a specific explanation or example, and state your position clearly throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, three body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly,” “Secondly,” and “Lastly,” and a concluding opinion. These markers help readers identify the main topics. However, progression within paragraphs is often weak because ideas are placed next to one another without clear explanation of how they connect. For instance, the internet paragraph moves from cultural exchange to hiring workers and then to your job, but does not explain the relationship between these points. Some linking is repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “Moreover” and “also.” The conclusion is too brief to bring the discussion together. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, then connect its example explicitly to your argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “globalisation,” “interaction,” “developing countries,” “labour,” “culture,” and “trade,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several phrases are imprecise or unnatural, such as “a positive point,” “get idea between other cultures,” and “build there relationship.” Frequent spelling errors—including “globilazation,” “Eourpean,” and “socila media”—also make the writing less clear and reduce the accuracy of your word choices. Aim for precise collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, describe people as “gaining insight into other cultures” and say that travel can “strengthen diplomatic and trade relations.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt some longer sentences, such as the sentence beginning “With the help of internet,” and use basic sequencing structures to present your points. However, the range of sentence forms is limited, and errors are frequent enough to make parts difficult to read. Examples include missing articles in “It is very popular topic,” subject–verb agreement in “many developing countries hires,” and unclear sentence boundaries where several ideas run together. The final sentence, “In my opinion i have love globalisation i want people to communicate eacother and trade,” contains multiple clauses without appropriate punctuation and does not express the intended meaning clearly. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then combine related ideas using controlled conjunctions and correct punctuation.
