Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people believe that globalization has rapidly rose in recent years, via internet, air travel, trade and popular culture. Many individuals argue that grew interaction between countries through globalization is a good thing. I am discussing about both view.
To begin with, although growing globalization is beneficial for businessmans or authorities, it also have huge merits for getting jobs and growing economy of Nations. If the governments introduce more smooth laws in globalization such as logistics, at airports and ports, it will be boost more and get a lot of different jobs in every fields because some people couldn't make deals with other nations as china Australia from India because of strict laws and checking.
Moving further, however globalization has been growing for many years, it have lote of demerits because it make environmental issues because in this industry a lot of machinery working which is harmful for environment. Some individuals depend on others nations things such as food, fruits, vegetables they do not try to farming of that and also not approach for doing this type work they are mostly depend pn globalisation which is demerit. for instance mostly people depend on other nations in india they do not try to grow fruit there.
In conclusion, the government should introduce laws wisely which is beneficial for both environment and economy as well as people should not stay dependent on other nations which can solve a lots problems. According to me it can be beneficial for getting jobs and growing economies if the government introduce laws wisely.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both sides by presenting economic benefits, such as job creation and business opportunities, and drawbacks involving environmental harm and dependence on imported food. Your conclusion also gives a position: globalisation can be beneficial if governments regulate it wisely. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The business and employment point is difficult to follow because the example about strict checks and trade between India, China and Australia is not clearly explained. The environmental argument is relevant, but the claim that people become dependent on other nations needs clearer support and a more precise example. To strengthen the response, explain how each example demonstrates the effect of globalisation and make your opinion clear from the introduction onward.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs presenting benefits and drawbacks, and a conclusion. Linking phrases such as “To begin with,” “Moving further,” and “In conclusion” help signal these stages. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and some connections are mechanical or inaccurate. For example, “although growing globalization is beneficial … it also have huge merits” does not clearly establish the contrast intended, while the second paragraph shifts from environmental damage to food dependence without explaining their relationship. The conclusion repeats the main ideas but does not fully resolve the discussion. Use topic sentences that state one central point per paragraph, then develop it with a clear explanation and example; use linking words only where the relationship between ideas is precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “globalization,” “economy,” “environmental issues,” “machinery,” and “dependent,” so the reader can identify the main subject and arguments. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to follow. Examples include “businessmans,” “smooth laws in globalization,” “growing globalization,” and “a lot of different jobs in every fields.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “lote” and “pn” also reduce accuracy. Aim to learn common academic combinations, such as “trade regulations,” “create employment,” and “rely on imports,” and check spelling and plural forms. More precise vocabulary would help you express the economic and environmental points without relying on repeated general terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional and concessive forms, as in “If the governments introduce…” and “although growing globalization…”. However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “it also have huge merits” should use a singular verb, and “it will be boost” has an incorrect verb pattern. The opening phrase “I am discussing about both view” also shows problems with sentence structure and plural agreement. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected supporting clause, then check subject–verb agreement and verb forms. Greater control of these patterns would make your ideas easier to follow.
