Student answer (Band 5.5)

It has been observed that, nowadays the internet offered plenty of ways like flighting and business to increas the globlalisation. A group of individuals believe that the connaction between other countries is essential, however others argue that the growth of the intraction with others are deterimenal , Bsfore stareing my perspective, both views will discussed in the ensuing paragraphs.

On the on hand, examining the former opinion. The primary argument the supporters put forward is that they believe exchanging the tradition with other nations may provide benefits and share habits, lead to build a significant relation, for instance fashion is the major cause of the exponential of globalisation, in addition the cooperation in difficult periods such as corona virous pandamic or financial issues between nations, in other word doctors and researchers can share information about any disease with others, and governments have the ability to assist other country with their financial needs.

On the other hand, those in favour the latter opinion have their own arguments, the foremost one is they claim that the intraction with others could lead to lose the sense of community, and some people may foreget their traditions because of the exessive shares with others, other reason is that the exessive flights could brings disease carring them in a flight, for example allergie and other effective illness.

To conlude the discussion in my perespective after illustrates both views i completely agree with the former opinion because cooperation with others in difficult time and exchanging the tradition is such a good thing.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both positive and negative effects of globalisation and make your own position clear in the conclusion: you agree with the view that international cooperation and cultural exchange are beneficial. The examples of sharing medical information during a pandemic and providing financial assistance are relevant. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the benefits are listed rather than explained in depth, and the concerns about losing traditions and spreading illness receive little support. The opening also introduces a contrast between two groups without clearly framing the task’s central question. To strengthen the response, explain how each example demonstrates the effects of increased interaction and develop your opinion consistently beyond the final paragraph.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the other hand” helps readers follow the shift in argument, and the conclusion returns to your position. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several points are joined into long, loosely connected sentences. For example, the first body paragraph moves from cultural exchange to fashion, pandemics, and financial support without clearly showing how the ideas relate. Some linking phrases, including “On the on hand” and “To conlude,” are inaccurate, while repeated references to “the former opinion” and “the latter opinion” make the argument less direct. Use clearer topic sentences and separate distinct examples into shorter, logically connected sentences.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “cooperation,” “traditions,” “financial needs,” and “sense of community,” and you use some topic-specific expressions such as “researchers” and “disease.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the reader pause: examples include “globlalisation,” “connaction,” “deterimenal,” and “exessive.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “exchanging the tradition” and “the exponential of globalisation.” The range is therefore limited in precision, even though your main meaning is generally recoverable. Build a bank of accurate collocations for this topic and check spelling carefully; prefer phrases such as “cultural exchange” and “the spread of globalisation.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because” and “that,” and the overall meaning can usually be understood. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur throughout. For instance, “the internet offered” does not fit the intended present-time meaning, “the growth … are” has a subject–verb agreement problem, and “the excessive flights could brings” uses an incorrect verb form. The opening and body paragraphs also contain sentence fragments or incomplete constructions, such as “On the on hand, examining the former opinion.” Practise building complete sentences with one clear main clause, then check tense, agreement, and verb forms.
