Student answer (Band 6.0)

In the recent times, Globalization has made the world a global village due to which there has been an extensive increase in the interactions between different nations. Many people believe this to be a good practice, while I believe it is extremely important in many ways, some of them are written in this essay.

Due to the access of internet in each and every part of the world has made a visible change in the relationship between different nations. Therefore, this change has opened multiple trading opportunities for businessman of different countries. The economic situation all over the world gets better through trade of goods. Moreover, popular cultural believes reflects wisdom and peace on one another. Travelling plays a key role in this regard, it helps people to connect with eachother by exploring their culture and country.

In my opinion, globalisation is the reason our economy is growing extensively; moreover, our culture is getting much more positive recognition world-wide. Pakistan did not had a good image around the world after the 9/11 attack on The World Trade Center by Osama Bin Laden. To fight this scenario, government invited bloggers and influencers from different part of the world to show the real Pakistan and the hospitility their people has to offer. Citizens of mutiple countries travelled and showed the real Pakistan and because of that there is a huge differnce in, how the rest of the world precieves Pakistan.

In a nutshell; however, I believe in the fact that globalisation has made it much more easy for people to connect and experience various kind of good things.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address the central view and make your own position clear: you consider globalisation important and connect it to trade, cultural exchange, travel, and Pakistan’s international image. The Pakistan example gives your argument a relevant, specific illustration. However, the discussion is uneven: the benefits of trade and cultural interaction are asserted rather than explained in detail, and the opening promises several reasons without clearly setting them out. The example about Pakistan focuses mainly on tourism and reputation, so its link to increased interaction between nations could be made more explicit. To strengthen the response, explain how each benefit affects people or countries and develop the example with a clearer cause-and-effect link.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure, moving from an introduction to general benefits, a personal view with an example, and a concluding statement. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and connectors such as “Moreover” and “Therefore” show attempts to link ideas. At times, however, the progression is not fully smooth: the first body paragraph moves quickly from internet access to trade, culture, and travel, while the relationship between these points is not always made explicit. “In a nutshell; however” also combines signals that do not fit together, and the conclusion largely repeats the position rather than drawing the main reasons together. Use clearer topic sentences and more precise referencing to make the links between claims and examples easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 6.0

You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “global village,” “trading opportunities,” “popular culture,” and “recognition world-wide,” which helps communicate the main ideas. There are also attempts at less common expressions, such as “fight this scenario,” though some choices are inaccurate or unnatural. Spelling errors such as “hospitility,” “mutiple,” “differnce,” and “precieves” reduce accuracy, and phrases such as “popular cultural believes” and “good practice” do not express the intended meaning precisely. Aim for more natural collocations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for cultural exchange and international reputation would help you express the argument with greater clarity and flexibility.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses introduced by “while,” “due to,” and “because,” and the main message is generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction. For example, “Due to the access of internet … has made” leaves the sentence without a correctly formed subject, and “Pakistan did not had” should use the base verb after “did.” In “their people has to offer,” the verb does not agree with its subject. The final sentence also has an awkwardly joined contrast marker. Review clause structure and subject–verb agreement, then proofread verb forms and punctuation; this would make your varied sentences more consistently accurate.
