Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the last few years the globalisation has drastically rose because of internet, international air travel, import and export of goods, and cultural exchange between nations.
overall, the globaisation helps to know, share and experience the rich cultures of diferent religions. It further makes the resources available to everyone on global level instead of limiting it to locally.
Many individuals believes that the interaction between the nations is significant for both nations and for the people of the nations as well. Through globalisation any resouces is not limited to their local people instead it can be used by every single person living in the world through import and export of goods between nations. For example, avocado is used to western countries but can be found everywhere due to increased interaction between nations. Therefore, globalisation benefits the individuals to use every single resources which is available in the world.
In my opinions, the exchange of cultural knowledge, resources between the nations is essential for the growth and success of the person

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You identify several relevant benefits of globalisation, including cultural exchange and wider access to goods, and you give a clear positive opinion in the final paragraph. However, the response addresses the task only partially: it mainly explains advantages and does not discuss why some people might hold this view in any depth or consider possible drawbacks. The avocado example is relevant, but the point that it is “used to western countries” is unclear and is not developed to show its wider significance. Your conclusion is also unfinished, ending with “essential for the growth and success of the person.” The response is below the required 250 words, so there is not enough development or support for the ideas. Add a developed opposing perspective and explain your examples fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure: an introduction, a general statement about cultural benefits, a paragraph on access to resources, and a final opinion. This gives the reader some sense of organisation. However, progression is limited because the second paragraph repeats the positive view rather than establishing a distinct point, and the final paragraph is too brief to bring the discussion to a complete close. Linking expressions such as “Therefore” and “Through globalisation” are used, but connections between claims are sometimes unclear; for example, the avocado example does not clearly explain how it supports the preceding claim. Develop one main idea per paragraph, use clearer references, and ensure the conclusion summarises a complete argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “globalisation,” “cultural exchange,” “resources,” and “interaction between nations,” which allows the main subject to be understood. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning unclear. For instance, “used to western countries” does not express the intended idea clearly, while “rich cultures” and “every single resources” are imprecise or unnatural in context. There are also spelling errors such as “globaisation,” “diferent,” and “resouces.” Aim for more precise phrases such as “available in Western countries” and “a wider range of resources,” and check spelling carefully. Greater variety would help you explain the effects of globalisation more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple sentences and longer structures, including a sentence beginning “Through globalisation” and one using “instead of,” so there is some variety. The main ideas are generally understandable, but errors in sentence structure, agreement, articles, and verb forms occur. For example, “Many individuals believes” should use a plural verb, and “any resouces is not limited” has a mismatch between the subject and verb. The opening phrase “the globalisation has drastically rose” also has an incorrect verb form and article use. The final sentence is incomplete in meaning. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and past participles, and proofread each sentence for a complete, grammatically consistent structure.
