Student answer (Band 5.5)
Globalisation refers to growing connection between countries, economies, and poeple around the world. With the assitance of Internet and other factors, an immersive change can be seen in how today human beings see the world. As everything comes with its merits and demerits, Globalisation is one of them. When we notice the positive side of the globalisation, we can consider one of it's greatest factor which is the spread of technology and innovation. Today, almost every person from an infant to an elderly has a remote technology in their hand known as the mobile phone. The innovation of this gadget has helped people in various feilds. Whether it's a student or teacher, mobile phone provides easiness to every individual. For example, a student can learn about a new topic by searching it on the phone; A teacher can set her deadlines and other alarms just by one click on the phone's screen. Moreover, the increase in the interaction between the nations fuels the job growth in diplomacy and different related fields and solve the major problem just by detente.
It seems like a perfect gift from Globalisation. While it has given us massive amount of things that we can benefit from. A slight negative influence can be noticed in today's world. One of its pure example is the higher carbon emission. As the world advance, so does the technology. To support such things, burning of fossil fuel is essential. The increase in global shipping , flights, and long distance tranport of goods rely on fossil fuel and thus directs the increase in global emission
Considering the fact that everything is essential to live with the fast growing society today, my opinion on globalisation is that the world becomes a better place when we use the gifts of globalisaton in a healthy way that doesn't affect the society.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both benefits and a drawback of globalisation, and your final sentence gives a qualified opinion: it can improve the world if used responsibly. The examples of mobile phones helping students and teachers, and increased fossil-fuel use in transport, are relevant. However, the response only partially develops the task. The benefits focus mainly on technology, while the point about diplomacy and job growth is introduced but not explained or supported. The environmental drawback is also stated briefly, without considering its wider effects or how it weighs against the benefits. Make your position clearer earlier, then develop each main point with a specific explanation or example so the discussion is more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable overall arrangement: an introduction, a paragraph on benefits, a paragraph on a drawback, and a concluding opinion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of your discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven. The benefits paragraph moves from mobile-phone uses to diplomacy and employment without showing how these ideas connect, and the environmental paragraph ends without a clear link to your final judgement. Some transitions, such as “Moreover” and “While,” are used, but the relationships between ideas are not always clear; “While” also begins a sentence that is not completed as a contrast. Group related points together and use clear topic sentences and linking phrases to show cause, contrast, and consequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “globalisation,” “innovation,” “carbon emission,” “fossil fuel,” and “diplomacy.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both international connections and their consequences. However, the range is limited in places, and several inaccurate or awkward expressions make the meaning less clear, such as “remote technology,” “provides easiness,” and “pure example.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “poeple,” “assitance,” “feilds,” and “tranport.” Aim for more precise collocations and check spelling carefully. Replacing general or unnatural phrases with established academic expressions will make your argument clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, including a conditional idea in “when we use the gifts of globalisaton in a healthy way” and a cause-and-effect explanation about transport and emissions. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors sometimes make the intended relationships difficult to follow. For example, “While it has given us massive amount of things that we can benefit from” is a dependent clause presented as a complete sentence, and “the increase … fuels the job growth … and solve” has a subject–verb agreement problem. Other issues include “as the world advance” and inconsistent capitalisation of “Globalisation.” Practise completing subordinate clauses, maintaining agreement, and punctuating sentence boundaries; these changes will improve control while preserving your attempts at varied structures.
