Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era through internet, air travel trade and popular culture, globalisation has signifiacntly increased. A large number of people think that this increased interaction between diffrent nations through this globalization is a good thing. let's talk about this.
Firstly and most importantly, internet change the world into a global village. As in the past people knew very little about other nations in the world but now with the help of internet people can talk to anyone from other countries on a number of websites and applications like Facebook, Instagram and many more where they can get information of each other cultures, norms, religions and countries.
Second most important development is air travel by which a person from India can go to Canada and can watch and feel the culture. By travelling to diffrent countries and meeting people of different nations can improve a person's point of view about the world and other nations. For example, there is festival in Hinduism which is called Holi in which peolpe throw colours on each other and many people from different countries visit india just to take part in Holi
Third important thing is trade. Trade between different countries is not a new concept but in recent times trade between countries become very easy and convenient by which people come to know about the popular things about different nations for example the tradional clothes of diffrent nations.
Popular Cultures of different nations also has a significant role in globalization as people want to know about other cultures so that they acn understand each other better. A good example of this is Pakistani hospitality culture. Many tourist get shock when they see a random person is paying for their bills and inviting them for a dinner or a cup of tea. the reason their shock is that they don't see this culture anywhere else.
In my opinion, Yes internet, air travel, trade and popular culture increased globalistation and this is a wonderful thing as it opened doors for love and respect between nations and people started to understand the cultures of different nations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the main parts of the prompt by discussing how the internet, travel, trade and popular culture increase contact between nations, and your final paragraph makes your positive opinion clear. Examples such as visitors travelling to India for Holi and Pakistani hospitality help make the discussion relevant. However, the response mainly explains how people learn about other cultures; it gives less attention to why this interaction is beneficial beyond promoting understanding and respect. The trade paragraph, in particular, mentions traditional clothes but does not explain the wider effects of trade or interaction. Develop each main point with a clearer consequence and supporting explanation, and make your position explicit earlier as well as in the conclusion.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs on the internet, air travel, trade and popular culture, followed by your opinion. Sequencing phrases such as “Firstly,” “Second” and “For example” help readers follow the discussion. However, the repeated numbered transitions make the progression somewhat mechanical, and the paragraph about trade is brief compared with the others. Some links between ideas are also unclear, such as the move from learning about traditional clothes to the benefits of trade. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make the relationship between each example and its main point explicit. A more focused paragraph structure would also help balance the discussion.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “global village,” “interaction,” “norms,” “hospitality” and “popular culture,” and the examples show an attempt to discuss cultural exchange specifically. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “people,” “different” and “thing,” while several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, including “popular things about different nations” and “get shock.” Spelling errors such as “signifiacntly,” “diffrent,” “peolpe” and “tradional” are noticeable and reduce the accuracy of the writing. Build a more precise vocabulary for describing cultural awareness, tourism and international trade, and check spelling and common word combinations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including clauses beginning with “as” and “by which,” and your meaning is generally understandable. However, control of sentence structure and basic grammar is inconsistent. For example, “internet change the world” needs subject–verb agreement, while “trade between countries become very easy” needs an appropriate past or present-perfect verb form. Articles and sentence boundaries also need attention: “there is festival” requires an article, and several sentences run together or begin with lowercase letters after full stops. Practise checking agreement, verb forms, articles and punctuation, then use complex clauses only when their structure is clear. This will make your ideas easier to read.
