Student answer (Band 6.0)
In the current time period, with the innovation in internet, travelling and trade exchange, global interaction has increased between the countries. And it is contented that this worldwide integration is a positive aspect. I will elaborate my thoughts further in the essay.
With the rise of availabity of internet and media, it is convenient nowadays to interact with people living miles away from us and this also brings a trend of travelling between the countries, which results in cultural acknowlegement of a nation around the globe. This rising networking of trends also brings a sustainable economical benefit to countries. For instance, tourism has bought employment in countries like Pakistan, India and Nepal and recognition of these countries around the world also increases.
This global proliferation and growth is a favourable aspect of current era and in my opinion is a fortune thing for the countries to work on these uplifting trends and make their presence in the global network. For example, cultural popularity is bought by a korean boy band froup called BTS, their work gives korean culture a recognition they have never achieved, resulting in the increase in travel rate and trade of this country with others. So, it is crucial to win through these trends and to set proper policies and national preferences on bringing good outcomes.
In conclusion, globalization develops cultural bonds, improves friendly relations, and increases economic growth. I feel the benefits are much bigger than the negative aspects, making globalization an essential factor for today's world

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address the topic and make your position clear: globalisation is beneficial, particularly through cultural exchange and economic growth. The examples of tourism in Pakistan, India and Nepal and BTS’s influence on Korean culture are relevant and help illustrate your view. However, the discussion is weighted toward benefits, while the prompt asks you to discuss the view; acknowledging a possible drawback, such as pressure on local cultures or unequal economic gains, would make the response more balanced. Some claims also need fuller explanation: for example, explain how tourism creates employment or how cultural recognition leads to increased trade. Your conclusion restates your position, but the essay would be stronger if each main point were developed with clearer cause-and-effect reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the ideas generally progress from internet access and tourism to cultural influence and economic benefits. Linking expressions such as “For instance,” “For example,” and “In conclusion” help signal the stages of the argument. At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear. The opening “And it is contented” does not link smoothly to the previous sentence, and the relationship between internet access, travel and cultural awareness is compressed into one long sentence. The two body paragraphs also repeat the general claim that globalisation is favourable. Use clearer topic sentences and explain how each example supports a distinct reason.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use a relevant range of topic vocabulary, including “global interaction,” “cultural acknowledgement,” “economic benefit,” “recognition” and “national preferences.” These choices show an attempt to discuss the issue beyond basic terms. However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, which limits precision: “innovation in internet,” “sustainable economical benefit,” “fortune thing,” and “win through these trends” do not express the intended ideas naturally. There are also spelling errors, including “availabity,” “acknowlegement,” and “froup.” Aim for accurate, conventional collocations and check spelling carefully; precise wording will make your argument easier to follow and more persuasive.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including clauses with “which” and “resulting in,” and your main ideas are generally understandable. Some grammatical errors remain, particularly in sentence construction and articles. For example, “In the current time period, with the innovation in internet” has an awkward grammatical frame, while “a korean boy band froup” needs more accurate article and noun phrasing. The opening fragment beginning “And it is contented” is also not a well-formed sentence. Several sentences combine multiple ideas, making control less secure. Practise building complete sentences with clear subjects and verbs, and review article use and punctuation when joining clauses. More consistently accurate complex sentences would strengthen the response.
