Student answer (Band 5.5)

In the contamperory world, global integration through the internet, business, famous culture and air transport has rapid growth. Some argue that the rise in interaction between countries through globalisation is a rewarding. This essay will explain why global expansion is a good thing and why I believe that it has positive impact.

One of the main reason is that, Although globalisation create a lot of issues in terms of business, trades and jobs, the significant benefit is that people learn about different work culture and lifestyle of various part of the world. This means that, due to cross-border integration there are lot of problems occurs such as in jobs or businesses perhaps. However, it is only one side of the work in foreign market, it provide chance to person to learn about different culture and professional life of people from another part of the world. For instance, in this age and time many indians make connections on online job portals and get a job in the overseas companies, by that they enhance their knowledge about field at global level in which they work.

Furthermore, the other reason to prove my point is individuals who wants to earn in foreign currency need to expand their network by connecting people abroad online via various platforms. An apt example to explain this statement is that, there are many people in India who strive for a high-status lifestyle and salary in foreign currency provide them an elite lifestyle to a large extent. Therefore, people connect with foreigners on different social media platforms or job portals.

To conclude the disucssion, it can be said that despite the fact that worldwide interconnectedness has some hustles, my reasons why i believe it is a productive for all individuals is have a chance to learn about different culture and get well paid salary.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You give a clear overall view that globalisation is beneficial, and the examples about Indians finding overseas work and building international connections are relevant. However, the task asks you to discuss the view that increased interaction between nations is a good thing, while your response focuses mainly on employment and earning foreign currency. The second body paragraph largely repeats the employment point, and the possible disadvantages are mentioned only briefly rather than discussed. As a result, the position is present but not consistently developed, and the supporting ideas remain limited. To strengthen the response, explain a wider benefit of international interaction, such as cultural exchange or access to knowledge, and develop each example by showing how it benefits people or society.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable essay structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “Furthermore” and “To conclude” help signal the stages of the argument, and the first body paragraph moves from a general point to an example. However, progression between ideas is sometimes unclear: the first paragraph introduces problems with globalisation, then shifts to benefits without explaining the relationship, while the second paragraph repeats the employment theme. Some connectors are used mechanically, and references such as “this statement” do not always make the connection between the claim and example precise. Organise each paragraph around one distinct benefit, then use a clear explanation and example to develop it.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “global integration,” “cross-border integration,” “professional life” and “foreign currency,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at less common expressions, but several choices are inaccurate or unnatural and sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “a rewarding” does not work as a noun phrase here, “hustles” is not an appropriate synonym for difficulties, and “elite lifestyle” sounds overstated in this context. Spelling errors such as “contamperory” and “disucssion” are also noticeable. Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than more elaborate wording, and check spelling carefully. Reusing precise terms such as “international employment opportunities” would improve clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a concession beginning “Although globalisation…” and a sentence explaining how online connections can lead to overseas work. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors in agreement, articles and sentence construction occur frequently enough to make some passages difficult to read. Examples include “One of the main reason,” “globalisation create,” and “individuals who wants”; the sentence beginning “This means that” also contains an unclear construction. Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, particularly the capital letter after “Although” and the comma-heavy opening sentences. Practise building shorter, accurate sentences first, then combine ideas using subordinate clauses. Check subject–verb agreement and singular/plural forms during proofreading.
