Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify a relevant benefit of globalisation: working abroad may allow people from Pakistan to earn more, and the comparison between monthly earnings in Pakistan and other countries gives a concrete example. However, the response addresses the task only minimally. It does not clearly discuss the view that increased interaction between nations is beneficial, consider any disadvantages, or state a developed personal opinion. The opening largely repeats the prompt, while the point about government deals is difficult to understand and is not explained. The response is 108 words, so it is 142 words below the 250-word minimum; the 30 words copied from the prompt are excluded. To improve, state your position clearly and develop several relevant reasons with explanations and examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to move from an opening statement to a point about Pakistan and then to an example of overseas earnings. The contrast between income at home and abroad gives the response a possible line of development. However, the ideas are not arranged into clear paragraphs, and the relationship between the government-deals point and the later employment example is unclear. The response also ends abruptly with “This is only possible,” leaving the thought unfinished. Linking words such as “But” do not establish a clear progression between the ideas. Organise the essay into an introduction, developed body paragraphs and a conclusion, and use clear references and transitions to show how each point supports your opinion.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “globalisation,” “interaction between nations,” “generate income” and “worker,” and the figures help convey the intended comparison. However, the range is limited and several word choices or combinations make the meaning difficult to follow, particularly “the goverment attach and create diffirent deals” and “a very low and nothing great source of income.” Spelling errors such as “goverment” and “diffirent” also reduce accuracy. Aim for more precise expressions and check spelling carefully. For example, you could describe globalisation as creating “employment opportunities abroad” and say that workers may “earn a higher monthly salary,” rather than relying on repeated forms of “generate income.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to express a comparison and use a conditional-style pattern in “you will work in other country … You will earn,” but most sentences rely on simple structures, and control is inconsistent. In “Because i am from Pakistan and goverment of Pakistan link another countries,” the clause has no clear main structure, and the verb form and agreement are unclear. The long sentence beginning “But globalisation has rapidly increased” also contains several clauses joined without clear grammatical control. Capitalisation and punctuation need attention, including “i,” country names, and the missing space after “France.” Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use shorter, accurately punctuated sentences before attempting longer ones.
