Student answer (Band 5.5)

In this modern era, the debate over whether there is a significant raised in globalisation through mediums like internet, air travel, trade and by popular cultures has sparked widespread discussion. While some individual argue that its a good thing to have a strong interaction through globalisation between different nations, I also firmly believe in this view. This essay will examine this side before presenting a reasoned conclusion.

On the one hand, there are compelling reasons why some individuals support strong bound with other nations. The primary argument in favor of this is that its promote various cultural diversity by meetup with the people from different background. For instance, when you were travel to abroad you met with individuals of different culture , traditions and backgroung, then you both shares each other views and thoughts. Furthermore, supporters of this view maintain that without this approach, society would struggle with their recognition in international world.

Additionally, Proponents of this view further argue that it forster the job opportunities and businesses by tourism , which ultimately benefits the country's economy . For example, when tourist come to another country, so they have to book their reservation of rooms in hotels so there should be need for more management for look after the tourist without any difficulties. From my perspective, globalisation is complusory for the success of any country in fast-paced global wold, ensuring a more sustainable outcome in the long run.

To sum up, while valid arguments surround this view , I reiterate that it is significant for future growth of any country.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

Your position is clear: you support increased interaction between nations, and the essay gives relevant reasons involving cultural exchange, tourism, employment and the economy. The examples about meeting people from different backgrounds and hotels serving tourists help connect these points to globalisation. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The cultural paragraph does not explain in detail how exchange benefits societies, while the tourism example focuses on hotel reservations and staffing rather than showing the wider economic impact. The claim that societies would struggle for “recognition in international world” is also unclear. To strengthen the response, explain each reason more fully and address the opposing view before weighing it against your own position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion. Phrases such as “On the one hand,” “Additionally” and “To sum up” make the stages of the essay easy to identify. Overall, the ideas are arranged coherently, but progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical or unclear. For example, “Furthermore” introduces a claim about international recognition without showing how it follows from cultural exchange. The second body paragraph also moves from tourism to your opinion without a clear transition. Use linking expressions to show the precise relationship between ideas, and make references such as “this approach” explicit so readers can follow what they refer to.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “cultural diversity,” “job opportunities,” “tourism” and “country’s economy,” which helps communicate the main subject. There are also attempts at more formal phrasing, such as “compelling reasons” and “reasoned conclusion.” However, inaccurate word choice, collocation and spelling are noticeable and sometimes make ideas difficult to interpret. Examples include “significant raised,” “strong bound,” “meetup with the people,” and “fast-paced global wold.” Some phrases are also imprecise, such as “recognition in international world.” Build accuracy by learning common word partnerships for globalisation and checking spelling and word forms; choose clear, natural expressions rather than forcing formal-sounding language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, including a subordinate clause beginning “when” and a concluding phrase about long-term outcomes. However, the range is limited, and complex sentence attempts often contain errors that make the meaning harder to follow. For example, “when you were travel to abroad you met” has problems with verb form and tense, while “its promote” and “you both shares” show subject–verb agreement errors. Articles and sentence construction also need attention in phrases such as “the people from different background.” Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a dependent clause, then check verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation before adding further complexity.
