Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You give a clear positive view of globalisation, explaining that it connects people, enables access to goods, promotes countries, and can encourage support during disasters. The guitar example and the floods in Nepal make the discussion more concrete. However, the task asks you to discuss the view that increased interaction between nations is beneficial and give your own opinion; your response mainly lists advantages and does not consider any opposing view or limitation. Several points, such as how globalisation strengthens relationships or the economy, are asserted rather than explained in detail. Develop fewer ideas more fully, and make your position explicit in the introduction and conclusion. This would make the response address the task more completely.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has an introduction, two body paragraphs and a conclusion, and the paragraphs broadly group related points: trade and relationships first, then promotion and international assistance. Examples also help readers follow the main ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear, and several linking phrases are repetitive or awkward, including “As a result,” “On the other expect,” and “Thatswhy.” The second body paragraph moves from promoting Nepal to disaster relief without clearly explaining the connection. Some references, such as “This things,” are also unclear. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s main point, then explain and illustrate it in a logical order; choose a smaller range of accurate transitions and clear pronoun references.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “global world,” “economy,” “popularity,” and “building a relation,” and the examples show that you can communicate basic ideas about trade and international cooperation. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning less clear, such as “joining medium,” “shear goods,” and “the popularity will biild.” Spelling errors are also frequent, for example “prespective,” “significently,” and “flode,” which can distract the reader. Aim to learn accurate topic phrases as complete units, and proofread spelling and word forms. More precise vocabulary for trade, cultural exchange, and international aid would help you express your ideas with less repetition.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use mostly simple sentence patterns and make some attempts to extend them with clauses, as in “if I want guitar which is not available in Nepal I can easily order that guitar from other country.” However, these longer structures are often faulty, and errors occur throughout in verb forms, agreement, articles, plurals and punctuation. For example, “it also help” should be “it also helps,” while “other country help our county” needs a plural subject and a clearer verb form. Sentences such as “This things can build the bonding” also show problems with agreement and article use. These errors sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then build controlled complex sentences using because, although and if.
