Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You give a relevant opinion that global interaction can support business and tourism, and the example of visitors to northern Pakistan helps illustrate this benefit. However, the response addresses the prompt only partially: it focuses mainly on the internet rather than discussing globalisation more broadly, and the opposing view is only briefly acknowledged in “Some people also uses internet in a negative way,” without a reason or example. Your conclusion that the internet is “best invention” does not clearly restate your view about whether interaction between nations is beneficial. The response is also below the required 250 words, which leaves the main ideas insufficiently developed. To improve, discuss both benefits and drawbacks of globalisation and explain your position with specific supporting details.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
The response has a basic paragraph structure, moving from an introduction to benefits, a brief opposing point, and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “In my opinion,” “For instance,” and “To conclude” help signal these stages. However, progression is limited because several ideas are repeated or loosely connected, particularly the repeated focus on the internet. The sentence about a survey and increased visitors is not clearly linked to the later Pakistan example, and the negative point is left as a standalone sentence. Some references, such as “these things,” are vague. Organise the essay around distinct points—such as economic and cultural benefits, followed by a drawback—and use clearer links to show how each example supports the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “trade,” “social media,” “promote their culture,” “tourist,” and “economic growth,” so the reader can follow the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes meaning less clear. For example, “internet is having a major stake-holder in every country” does not express your intended point naturally, while “popular traditional activity” is unclear in this context. Spelling errors such as “phyical,” “apperence,” and “proccess” are also noticeable. Build a wider set of accurate expressions for globalisation, such as “international exchange,” “cultural influence,” and “cross-border business,” and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt a few longer sentence patterns, including the sentence beginning “When they…” and the clause “which attract new tourist for visit,” but most sentences rely on simple structures, and errors are frequent. Examples include “mostly people uses,” “use internet became,” and “most of the people use internet,” where verb forms, agreement, or articles are not controlled. There are also problems with plural forms and sentence construction, as in “many foreigners visits” and “huge number of visitors is increases.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause, although the overall meaning is usually recoverable. Practise accurate simple sentences first, then add subordinate clauses, checking subject–verb agreement, tense, articles, and plural endings.
